What are sneakers? I reckon I wear boots being I also have a farm. I suppose if you run you should get some running shoes. I am not allowed to run any more so walking is my pace. I don't reckon it matters what you wear on your feet so long as you are comfortable. If it is rainy season you might even wear rubber boots. I am still laughing about sneakers. What are those for; sneaking up on some one? That tickles me. Thanks I needed that. If you live in the city I reckon you should have something comfortable on concrete and you can wear on a two or three mile walk.

Lol. Jay that sneaker deal just tickled the hell out of me. That was a good one. So sneakers is running shoes and the sort. Where did the sneaker part come in? Man that is a funny word for shoes. lol
Seriously I would wear what ever makes you comfortable. Maybe a good set of leather boots so you can put a boot in some one that sprays bad stuff about your dog and such.

Well since I work in a factory amd I run a press and handle thoughsands of pounds of steel at a time "with the crane" I am required to wear steel toe boots. But I got used to wearing them all the time. Unconfortable as hell but you get used to it. Cold for hunting in the winter time. Thats what I wear LOL.

Run Sediala! Run! :p
To answer respectfully to the fellow who posted the question- I prefer Docs to everything else. I work in them, train horses in em, walk the dogs, etc.- A good leather boot won't let you down

Depends what I'm doing. If we're going hunting, my combat boots are on, if I know I'll be steppin through the muck and unsure terrain. For actually running the dogs, I went out and bought a cheap pair of running shoes. Dont need to be fancy, just need to be able to run miles and your feet feel good when your done. The best running shoes I've ever worn (for roadwork) is a pair of New Balances. Much better then Nike, Adidas, etc which are not as work-oriented imo, but more for looks. Working a bulldog isnt a fashion show, its about getting down and dirty, and feeling as good as possible when done ;)
What are sneakers? lol, Attila, sneakers are tennis shoes. It's just a different name for them. A dialect if you will, like how Northerners say pop while Southerners say soda (or Coke). I've found a lot of Easterners say sneakers while most everyone else says tennis shoes.
As, for what to use I too would go w/ New Balance. They are a very good overall shoe. The Hushpuppy Bounce is also an excellent shoe built just for walking.
Good luck in your shoe search!

I'm a fan of a good ol' pair of shitkickers for anything, LOL! But, in the summer I'm barefoot unless I have to work or go into a store, then sandals or New Balances. They are by far the best sneakers I've ever owned. I have knee problems and they are just more comfortable. ;)

LOL. I thought I was the only one who wore a special pair of sneakers to walk the dogs!...For running and playing and walking-blue and white Air Force 1s sneakers. And if its cold or going walking through the trail I wear black Timberland boots.

For walking or working your dog, you should use whatever is most comfterable for you, I jog my Achilles every other day along the trails by where i live and ofcourse i wear running shoes, when i walk him i use them same shoes, they are the most confterable for me, I personally couldnt walk my dog on boots lol, probably because im not used to walking on them.:)

I never stood a chance with accents or in the naming of things- British Mother (fierce) x New England Father (of the CH Archie Bunker persuasion). My slightly english accent was punctuated with words like "pop" and "mummy". I threw trash in the "dustbin" and wore my "sneakers" to "supper". Then we moved to coastal GA, where sheer volume and "y'all" guided everything. Then to south central GA where at first my coastal accent was mistaken by folks here as a NYC accent- go figure. I still haven't said "reckon", but I'm "fixin'" to do everything. Talk about scatterbred...:D

"Y'all put the caahh in the caahh port, capice?"
My first week in school after we moved here, I raised my hand in dead silent class room while taking a test and said, "May I borrow a rubber (pencil eraser), I seem to have made a terrible mistake."
Then called the kid who was tutoring me to catch up in algebra to set a time for him to come over and left a message that said, "Give me a ring before you knock me up." His mother had a fit.
I don't say Garage, it sounds like "grudge". I give you a ring, I don't call you.
The things you put your coat on, or hang things on are hookers. Yep, I've sent my husband to Home Depot for hookers.
I call rubber boots wellies. Diapers are nappies. Bloody friggin' brilliant and wicked bril do come out of my mouth. You get a boot in the muncher instead of a kick in the mouth.
Try living in philippines, off base in Hawaii and Japan before 5 years old, then onto Florida with frequent trips to Cape Ann, north of "Bahhston", then onto Italy.
My accent was ssooooo bad from being transferred everywhere, my Dad's CO (Commanding Officer) "suggested" to my father that he put me into speach therapy to clear it up, because it would raise eyebrows when his security clearance came up for review.
Oh, yeah, forgot to add that my great grandparents that I spent time with were Irish and I also went to British schools while overseas.

My grandmother was an O'Neal- straight irish and never moved to this country. My grandfather was Grant-Clapham- originally a scotsman who died in WWII. My mother was born and raised in England - she's a Brit through and through. Then there is my father. Archie Bunker incarnate.
I definitely weren't bred for temperament :D
Huh? Oh-Special shoes? Sorry guys, I'm done with my pedigree now.
