http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Qn3hkS9qeopacman all the way!!! only way he lost the first fight was bc of the cut on his eye. he still held on like a champ. and the next fight, was pacman ownage on morales. this is his best training camp yet too from what i hear. he's not on philipino time at roach's gym and his philipino partners are not arguing with his american counterparts. his only weakness is his lack of defense but if he puts up pressure then he won't need it. his footwork should get him out of trouble as long as he rolls either left or right and not straight back as he did in the first fight. i bet 20 bucks he gets a knockdown slip ducking a punch, leaning forward and then a left uppercut or hook and then a straight right followed by a flurry if need be. if you watch his videos lately, he's working hard on that.

Now as for our dogs being AST's Just because we chose not to roll them don't make them Amstaffs. Those that have the chance to own one know what they have. Are they Game bred NO! But there are no Blue dogs in our yard nor are our dogs registered with the AKC. Further, our dogs are not bred strictly for the show ring. They do have DRIVE unlike many ADBA and UKC quote Game Bred, people shy, Tail tuckers.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Just so you all Know Our dogs were single registered into the UKC. They are not PR. Their Dam was only ADBA.<o:p></o:p>

Again are they Game bred NO! But they are not Amstaff. For those of you that want to believe that only game bred dogs are APBT's you are all idiots! How many of you have ever seen a whole litter of game bred pups turn out to be GAME? So all of those curs that are produced by Game bred dogs are AST's? So that means that Jeep was bred off of a AST line. Things that make you go hummmmmm!<o:p></o:p>

A lot of these dogs that are extremely ripped have a lot to do with genetics, though plenty of exercise and a great quality food can help out as well, but genetics play a huge role.

Ice i want to put her in conf she just pulls right now..
but she has like that tail that was broken at the end so it kinda curls when she is excited which is most of the time for some reason it does stick out...

Thanks...they were great dogs. I hate that I lost them 4 days apart. It hit me really hard especially when Cherry passed, she was really close to me. We had lots of conformation plans with her.

i use all sorts of collars on her..to the pretty jeweled ones, to the ones you have on your dog ella. this spiked collars of hers is not too dramatic i don't think...people actually always ask me where i got it..its not the regular spikes you would see...i have one for her and my other female...i never use them to walk them actually the last time i used them at all and the only time was that day I took those photos...the spikes are pretty small..but again everyone is entitled to their opinions!

No, no. It's not the "look" of the collar that scares me or causes any dislike.
It's anything semi-sharp hanging off an active dog's collar that scares me. I'd be worried of getting scraped up. My dog runs into me CONSTANTLY when we play ball, or she's jumping up to get her toy on her springpole, she'll sometimes miss and run right into me.
Anything hanging of the collar like that, semi-sharp, would be sure to hurt me.

Sorry, I wasn't insulting the collar for how it looks.

Yes his dogs look incredible, and if you stop for one moment (ignoring the tiny outburst) he has a point. An APBT is an APBT. I have a game bred APBT that is a Pet Bull, that does not make him an Am Staff. I have an Am Staff that was bred from a champion UKC show Am Staff and an APBT.

If they are APBTs they are APBTs, regardless of what you do with them....and that is valid. Every one on this board understands the passion for this breed, some express it in ways that are easier to hear. Regardless of how it is expressed, be patient with one another - we all have the love of this breed in common.....and all of these dogs are sooooooooo beautiful. What a great idea for a gift to one of our boys in the service! Props to the OP!

This is Garner's Gauge. He's bred off of Ch. Rebel Yell x Black Yoko. He's puppy fat in the picture on the left and considered show weight on the picture on the right. I used a combo of HIIT training, distance/endurance, and a diet based on natural feed similar to BARF with some tweaks. He holds solid muscle mass as it is so I did not work an excessive amount of anaerobic exercises. He wasn't fed any kibble while I shaped him. HIIT stands for high intensity interval training. It is used a lot when an athlete is interested in preserving muscle mass and training for quick recovery. It consists of exteme aerobic exercise for short sets and then a varying recovery period. I would do 5 minutes of non-stop sprints following with 60 seconds of recovery or rest. Then I would again do 5 more minutes of non-stop sprints following with another rest period. I typically would work this way a half hour daily the first week with an additional half hour each week after. You need to know your animal to really nail down the time. You also increase the time for the sprints weekly until you are near 10 minutes of flat out sprinting your final week. The rest period does not change. This trains the athlete to recover extremely quickly from elevated heart rates. This closely resembles an animal in a fight response where large amounts of energy are consumed in sustained periods. This allows the athlete to recover from these work periods very quickly so they can sustain another large use of energy and oxygen. This style of exercise is also very condusive to preserving muscle mass. Long sustained aerobic exercise will eventually utilize protein from the animals lean muscle mass to fuel the work. At the beginning of the training he would pant like crazy and rest most of the following hours. By the end I couldn't get him to get tired. He recovered far too quickly and mission was accomplished :) Picture was taken and you see him above in top physical shape. This is a rough idea and no way should be used for every single animal. You need to know your animal to know how long the work periods should be and what your final recovery goal is.
