I was just wondering if anybody owns or has used one of these. It seems like a really neat way to keep your stick on you, without being too obvious. I'm just curious if it would do the job in a real situation.
To see an example of what I'm talking about, go to http://www.whitetrashkennels.com/ and click on "Trash," then "parting sticks. They're on the right side.

LOL. Did you notice the pic? They are using it on a Chihuahua & it looks small then!:D
I'm afraid it's more of a choking hazard than anything else.

upon further review of the site (which i find quite amusing) i do believe its just a novelty item....:D
Maybe it would be good for when one of those vicious Chis, mini Dachies or toy poodles gets a hold of you! http://thorstenkaye.com/bahaha.gif

Even the small keychain breaking sticks are better than nothing. Breaking sticks are not pry bars, they are not to pry the jaws open. Anything that can be inserted in the right place can be used.

personaly i wouldnt care to have one of those, but i do like their solid oak breaking sticks and the price is pretty fair also.http://www.whitetrashkennels.biz/images/breakingsticks.jpgthese are more my style, and what i like to use.so if your serious about buying a breaking stick i would suggest something like these.

I don't think I would trust that- like someone else said they were giving an example on a small dog- I don't know many APBT that are that small-
looks like too much of an accidental bite waiting to happen in the case you had to use it.
I would just stick to the normal size one

I agree with you TPD. I too like the wood ones. I'm thinking of ordering one for my hubby.

the hell with buying breaking sticks, i will make my own. All it takes is a good piece of hardwood and a good knife, it don't have to be pretty to do the job

I've got a few of the poly ones at home. I was just thinking that an itty bitty one like that would be a good thing to have in a pinch, if you get caught without. I always have my keys when I leave the house, but not always my stick. (Though I've kicked around the idea of keeping a stick in each car.)
