Just joined your Forum... I have a tendency to live a bit sheltered... 28 years on sailboats... 6 months a year of primtive camping... has never been enough... after 40 years as a Chef finally going to hit the road with my buddy Spirit...
The sweetest Pit you will ever meet... a lover... what a dog... actually... he is not a dog!...
I caught a thread about BSL in Denver... and of course lost it by the time I joined. I have had Spirit for over a year now, was about over a year when I rescued him... we have travelled the Eastern Seabord intensively... with never a problem... I have left him in the sidecart while shopping... but will have a truck and trailer now and will avoid that situation!
The thread I read has me concerned... for also many towns/cities... specially Denver where I have many friends...
Does the ban apply also to someone like me travelling through from Out of State??? I will not push my luck... but... in case travelling through town...
would it be as simple as that... as sighting... and taking him away???
I will keep looking for that thread... in the meantime your comments would be very very valuable... we are leaving next friday...
Be well... Ara

It DOES apply. In most of those cities, if you are pulled over with your pit bull in tow, your dog will be confiscated. Steer clear.

Love the pics!

Yup, so, be sure to do your homework and BEFORE you enter into ANY city/state, research. Make certain the areas you are going to frequent/visit do NOT enforce BSL. Your reasons for being there with your "pitbull" will only fall on deaf ears.

Agreed, luv the pics, and btw, "welcome"!:D
