I noticed she's got some White Rock dogs in her ped. As far as AmStaffs go, I like the WhiteRock dogs and have met several. All have been really nice dogs. I knew of a WhiteRock female that was blue (not bred for color either) who was 42lbs, and VERY athletic. Sweet dog as well.

She'll likely be a nice one. NOT a Blue whale by any stretch of the imagination, those dogs are Mastiff mixes. Your girl looks to be a nice AmStaff.

Touche... I have defiantely done that before. However if you look at my first post I was just joking which I why I said "On a serious note...".

I do expect that a blue dog would get dissed here, the first time I posted mine he was accosted and attacked, EVERY post with blue dogs in it EVER spirals into negative statements about the dog and the owner, and usually the breeder too. Lets not pretend that I was off base, the history of experience states its just a matter of time.

I watch it happen like once a week it seems. Decent dog gets posted and then picked apart by the masses, the noob usually stops posting shortly thereafter. The same thing happened to me when I got here... God only knows how long ago.

That is not to say that there isnt some "dissention amoung the ranks", we are human beings. there are bound to be some things that people get into it over even in the most tight knit of families there are skirmishes and spats. But let something try to stand against them and they will put aside thier differences to battle the enemy as a united front. Remember I pointed that out a while back, this board needs the blue dogs posts because it gives you all something to hoot and holler about. YOu get to take turns patting each other on the back afor saying how gamedogs are the only dogs and why you only work with proven dogs and all that. Havent you noticed?

A post about gamedogs will get a few hits here or there.. but there is no conflict, no drama and it drops to page 2 pretty quick. But let a post about blue dogs jump up it page one for DAYS on end and there will be easily over 1,000 views. The last one we had was only up for a week or so and it had more views then the sticky posts do on the first page. Its a way for you to feel part of something... because lets face it we all have ideas on things that we could do to make the breed better but most of us do do much outside of our own yards. This gives you a chance to voice your opinions and feel like you are part of the solution by cutting down on what you think is the problem.
I especially love how i have read it stated and then agreed upon that the "pit bull" attacks are tributed to the "big blue curs" too. It makes me laugh because I have seen literally well over 1,000 dogs in person, having talked to the owners/ breeders and actaully laid hands on most of them and have only seen one that was human aggressive. Westside Kennels Monster is human aggressive. I have seen precious few dogs that I would consider gamedogs(and I dont mean gamebredm I mean tested, proven gamedogs), yet I know of no less then 3 that were human aggressive, per the mouths of the men that bred them or owned them. Does that mean that im saying gamedogs are the ones biting people, no of course not. Dont twist my words and even entertain that thought.

I cant be the only person that notices this.

But in defense, you go on a big blue, red ,white etc forum and they tend to bash "game dogs" and say similar things.
It gets confusing being the title of the board is " Pit Bull Community" and if you consider what a very popular mod says, pit bulls arent a breed of dog but a group of dogs lumped into a catagory. therefore, one would think that all "pit bulls" are welcome. However, if you continue to read, it states that they are refering to the "game-dog" not the *insert your favoirte color here* over done dogs that are simply bred for looks and fashion. Unfortunetly, thats the route that blue (and yes, red as many dogs from the eddington line are red /red nose) dogs were taken..short, low, wide chests.. nothing that could work without overheating, horrible easty westy feet.. You know, they could be the nicest dogs in the world but thats not the point.. the point is they have changed so dramatically that they dont even resemble the breed they are claiming. There is nothing wrong with a well bred APBT who happends to be blue..It doesnt have to have perfect conformation as long as it can work.. but there is something not right with a "APBT" that resembles a english bulldog ....
I hope this helps a bit in one aspect. The other..well, you know the saying "it's not who you know...." Just remember that some highly thought of people are not always what they make themselves out to be...... ;) They dont pay your bills, buy your dogs food or shovel your dogs poop ...

I can agree with everything you have said minus game dogs being bashed on bully boards... I wont say that it doesnt happen(very rarely) but when it does it is by the young upstarts that dont know thier history. Some "i want a kennel/ i want to be a breeder" goes out and spends a few grand on some dogs and think they have it in the bag. They dont take the time to study the breed or to learn what they are getting into fully and they usually get checked by the more experienced breeders for thier ignorance.
