Understandably, opinions may vary here, but figured I'd throw this out at you all.

Pit Bulls are in desperate need of a positive role model in the media. So we made a movie about one!
As pit bulls and other bully breeds continue to be banned, the time has come that we MUST do something. Anyone who has had a pet pit bull knows they are the sweetest, most loving dogs around. They deserve to have their stories heard and brought to the public's attention. We can start with DIVA DOG.
"Diva Dog: Pit Bull on Wheels" is the true story of Coral, a pit bull with a heart of gold and a triumphant will to live. Rescued from abuse, she was dealt another blow when she was left permanently paralyzed by a hit-and-run driver. But did any of this hold her down? NO!!!
Starring Linda Blair & Debra Wilson from "Mad TV," DIVA DOG is an example of the wonderful things this breed is capable of. She is strong and smart and determined and full of love & joy.
We are on a mission to give the public a GOOD pit bull image to latch on to. A pit bull they can fall in love with and cheer for. That pit bull is Coral the Diva Dog. She can become an icon like Benji or Lassie. We need to put this out there - into the media, into the spotlight, into the public consciousness.
This is not JUST a movie. It is a living example that gives a name and a face and a voice to all pit bulls and disabled animals alike.
We all can write to our legislators, we can protest, we can write checks to good causes. And all of that helps - IT ALL HELPS. But this is something that has the potential to truly become a resource to fight BSL. If the public latches on to this, we will have a recognizable, acceptable weapon in our arsenal against bully breed bans. If the world knows who Coral is, she will always represent pit bulls - and it will become more difficult for the world to ignore this.
So if you love pit bulls and don't want to see them exterminated, please support DIVA DOG. Please tell all your friends about this movie. Please re-post this bulletin. Please send people to our page and our website www.divadogthemovie.com.
Above all, please buy the DVD! It will be on sale in a little more than a week for $9.99 plus shipping & handling (more for int'l orders). We will have a Paypal account set up on-line and will also accept money orders. We will keep you all posted. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to pit bull rescue and advocacy groups, and we will be partnering up with such groups to hold screening fundraisers. The more DVD's we can sell, the more we can funnel into getting this out there on a larger scale - and the more we can do to help pit bulls in the grand scheme of things. We will not give up this fight - EVER. You can help.
