Well I haven't had a chance to put the electric line up on the new pen I just built, because its been rainning for the last few days. Well Lupe is alot more athletic compared to Boomer and Cheyenne.. And I found out the hard way.. I was out in the yard feeding Boomer (who I had on the chain) Cheyenne and Lupe were in the pen when this squirrel runs along the top of the fence and jumps from th fence to a tree.. and Lupe hits the fence and climbs it like a damn monkey! She's over the pen and on the ground and then she climbs the freaking tree after the squirrel!! The tree splits toward the bottom and kinda V's out and up.. then next thing I know Lupe's about 7 feet up the tree and trying to figure out how to get higher. So... Lupe is on the chain now (and hates it) until I can get the electric wires ran to deter her from climbing. But I am going to see if I can get her to do it again and get a picture of it.

Yeah.. she just jumped down and wanted to play some more. I am more worried about her paws.. both of which were bleeding after she climbed the fence.. I cleaned them and I am keeping an eye on them.

my uncle has a dog who sleeps in a tree. Its only four feet of the ground where the tree goes out into three different branches. It looks crazy when you walk by and see a dog a sleep in a tree

My girls try climbing the trees goin after squirrels too, or if I momentarily put the flirtpole in a tree to do something else real quick. The only tree on the property they can climb is the apple tree, it's the only one with limbs low enough for them. And they get to snag some snacks while they're in it, lol. The ones they can't climb just end up with the bark ripped off of them....

Bentley tries his damndest to climb trees. All mine go straight up so he's stuck on the ground. He cant stand it when he cant catch them squirrels.

I found a couple pics of my dummies trying in vain to get at a squirrel that dashed up this big ass tree. If ya look close, you'll see where there's a big patch of bark missing.....
