And if you can, teach them to wash themselves:

I seen one of those in the nearest big city around me, it looked like it was a co-op between the car wash company and pet wash company. If I remember correctly, they not only shared the same building and sign, but name also.
We've got a park and groom van that drives around, presumably for people with little ankle bitters who get groomed/permed up every couple days. I've seen the inside of the van with the sink, and supplies. I'm thinking about calling them up to wash my Mastiff, I dont think her and the washer would fit in the vehicle at the same time. LOL
People are always coming up with intresting ways to make $$.....

I swear I'd pay someone to come bathe mine... Basically I put them on the leash.. the put the leash on an old pole that's concereted in the ground (used to be and old sattelite dish pole) and I spray them down.. soap'em up.. and spray down again.. they HATE it.

I had a pit bull many years ago that I used to take to the dog groomers to bathe. They loved her...
I know the PetSmart in the next town over has a dog wash, do it yourself..or they will do it. Don't know the cost. I bath Blue at home in the bathtub with warm water (No she is NOT spoiled, lol, why do you ask?) As I get older though the idea of walking her up to the waist high tubs, shower stalls at PetSmart becomes appealing.
I just feel that no one else is going to wash or rinse her as good as I do.

Man that's a good idea. If there was one here I'd probably try it out. I bath mine in an old bathtub outside by the kennels.

These things are great.
They're just like a car wash, same notion, with the dial that lets you select things:
1)Shampoo
2)Disinfectant
3)Deodorizer
4)Conditioner
5)Rinse
6)Blow-dry
The one I have near my home has little bins with a ramp, a lock-able door, double-bull-snaps (on that steel-wire type-rope) and takes coins and credit.
I love these things. They're small enough that the dogs can't fuss too much, and the care and quality job you yourself can do for five bucks outweighs what you can let the pro's do for 50.
