oh we never have to worry about stillwaters stuff.his stuff is made for real pitbull terrier owners by a real pitbull terrier owner.

Our leather is strong enough. We have used them to work and to "SHOW OFF". Stillwater makes some strong working collars. Their nylon ones are about unbeatable for a working dog if you don't want leather.

What is the thickness of the leather? 2-ply?How thick? Another thing that looks weak is the pop rivit's holding the 'holding strap'. It's just a matter of weather and a little time and them things are gona come through!! I got the seatbelt ones from stillwater, and will be getting more!! You should go and look at Stillwater's design on the leather collar as well. Or peddal them things on the poodle network!!

now dont go fighting or trying to start anything with the man till we see what he has to say about the specs of the collars, all he is trying to do is sell his wares, and all we are trying to do is see if they are worth a closer look.the worst thing you can do is jump the gun on certain things.i myself am curious as to what the specs are and strong enough doesnt anwser it for me.

Wazzz uppp Texas? I can take a little razzing. The collars are double ply leather and I will measure the thickness when I get home from work and find out some more about the strength. I personally use the collar on my 100lb Presa Canario and have never had a problem.

Presa Canario's and gamedogs are two totally different breeds! Gamedogs will tug, pull, and so forth and probably snap those leather rings you have on there. Not trying to bash, but those collars look just a bit shabby for pit dogs...JMO...

Yeah I would be worried about the rivets and the leash. I have a house dog(APBT) and he can be a F'ing beast when going past certain dogs! So I don't know about using them on game pits! Has it been strength tested?

Can we agree, it looks like a good collar for walking a dog, but its not tie-out quality, nor do I think he's advertising it as such.

Off topic a lil. I'd be willing to bet that one of my Presas would be more likely to break one of them cheap shits than a APBT. It is plain physics. 130lbs Vs. 70 lbs. Same drive.

Its like saying a 4 cyl Ranger can pull more than a diesel F-350.

That added leather to attach the ring to makes no sense either. IMO that would be more likely to break at the rivets.
