Here is the deal. Got some Dogfolk coming over Sunday. They already planned to bring dogs so we can brag and show them off. My secret suprise is that the president of my Kennel associations is going to be one of them. lol I am going to butcher off about ten birds and fire up the grill. What is on my mind is getting a show and events going here in Arkansas. I want to start a set of shows and events here. Simple style with a cook out every time. do the same ole ribbons and such but with out the cityfied and large money monger mentality. I don't need or care for that crap. Tired of waiting all night on monster mutt pulls and want only conforming dogs to enter events no ifs ands or buts about it. Conform or leave it at home. My standard starts at 30 and ends at 65 that is mine we can debate and maybe come up with a five pound tollerance but with a reduction in points, pounds pulled or what ever. I need someone to show me how to make and set up a track sled etc. so we can get that kicked off the ground. there are many skills that we will need. I know how to hunt and grade hunts and conformation. I know how to have my dog pull but I am no expert on that deal. I will need one. I can do the same again in a month or so what ever. Hunts can go on all year for points so what ever. Bear, hog, cougar, bobcat or what ever ya'll like to hunt is cool with me I like it all. I just wont eat the cats. lol Members of my Kennels will be in it also. What say you? This time will be more of a gathering of minds and to toss idea's. Building a team. But we can have a show. and if some one has a sled we can have a pull. We wont have time for a hunt. Food will be my treat. Some drink too. I am a country hick so try to stay simple and not make it get too complex but we will have to form rules and regulations. My Idea of standard is 30-55 on female and 40-65 male but we can discuss that to a limited point. I don't want mutts slowing things down. PM, email call if you know my number what ever.
