Ok here is something weard. I got this puppy and he is chewing on princess's neck. I got a completely fenced in back yard and This puppy is chewing on princess and causing her to bleed. I dont know why princess is letting her do it, but she is starting to get some preatty bad scratches that are looking tearable. No real deep cuts just little ones on the same spot over and over. What can I do to correct this. I guess I am going to have to kennel the puppy I had her running loose so she can socalize with the other dogs. Need advice on this one.

Folsom does that too.. he'll lay beside Boomer and chew on his ear/side of neck/jaw.. and Boomer just sits there and lets it. Now he hasn't broken the skin yet..so I've just let it go I figure when Boomer gets tired of it he'll let Folsom know.

Older dogs will usually grant pups immunity to be obnoxious. As they get older, usually the adults will start disciplining the pups, but it depends. Jedi let Loki chew him bloody without uttering a peep. Loki, on the other hand, schooled her foster puppy very promptly when he misbehaved.

My Jack Russel absolutely loves to chew on my Pitbull, including his neck, his limbs, ears, you name it. Rex (pitbull) let it go on for awhile, but he will let him know when it is time to stop.

My dad's dog Bruno would let Gotti(puppy) do that to him and let Gotti hang on while he walked around. His neck was just all scratched up. I dont know why Bruno would let him do it. my dad would always say No and redirect his attention to a toy.

Well I seperated them both I put princess and the puppy in seperate kennels. With a show coming up in a few weeks I need princess in her top health. After the show I,ll try and figure a whey to get the pup to stop it unitil then I guess she will have to be in time out with a kennel to herself. Being a puppy it isn,t what I really wanted to do, but I have no other choice right now.

Put bitter apple on the dogs neck(where ever the pup is biting.)
