Excuse me, "leads" a Pit Bull? How about drags a Pit Bull! Poor dog. That pic just fires me up for some reason. Let's take all these dogs. Oh wait, we don't have room for them? Ah hell, let's just kill them. Same thing they did with Floyd B. Even if you're found innocent, you've already paid the price. Or at least your dogs have.

"Investigators also found heavily muscled but otherwise unhealthy dogs"
Another ignorant statement. An unhealthy dog would be skin and bones, not heavily muscled. The media just loves to twist a story to make the whole confiscation of the dogs seem justified.

Ugh. I cannot believe this happened 10 minutes away from me. It just makes me realize that I will have to fight harder for what I love.

I have followed the posts on here about this whole mess. I hope everyone who reads a paper thinks about everything they read in light of what the papers publish about pit bulls. Will you ever trust this paper to tell you the truth about ANYTHING. If that is how factual they are about pit bulls...the whole twisted, slanted mish mosh of lies and misdirection...how much truth could they be telling us about everything else they publish...
The whole story is just...the man, Mr. Weigner, was MURDERED! So now the "authorities are going to smear him, blame him for his own death and murder the dogs, if they in fact are not dead already.
Apparently his wife had to flee the state of Texas to escape criminal prosecution.
I am ashamed to have been born in Houston. It seems like nowadays there is "trial by media." Especially if one is dead and cannot defend oneself.
It's been a while and all the media does is cluck about "dog-fighting." I hope they find the killers soon. Maybe they could shoot them down like they shot down Mr. Weigner. My country is starting to sicken me. Apparently justice is only for those who own newspapers and not for everyone else.
