So i decide to swing by Mickey Dee's (Mcdonald's) for lunch today and I figure i'll throw mylittle boy Folsom in the car for the ride. Trying to get him used to the car so he doesn't puke like the other 2 do. Anyway.. I lock the doors and go in buy my mess and come back out and there is an individual standing by my driver side window looking at my dog, no problem. When I walk up conversation goes like this..

Guy: Nice looking pit.
Me: Thanks ( I get in my car)
Guy: How much you want for him?
Me: he's not for sale my wife would kick my ass if I came home without him.
Guy: oh..come on man..how much?
Me: he's not for sale (starting the car)
Guy: Looks like he has a good bite..
Me: He's 12 weeks old what kind of bite can he have?
Guy: Thats plenty old.. you gonna fight him?
Me: Hadn't planned on it.
Guy: he ain't mean enough?
Me: What?
Guy: Is he mean?
Me: Again..he's 12 weeks old, how "mean" can he be.
Guy: Come on man..let me get him from you, i'll give you 800 for him right now.
Me: (putting car in reverse and driving away..making plans to go Tuesday and get my conceal carry permit)

People like that get on my damn nerves! I get that all the time. Since I'm so small I get very uncomfortable when people ask stupid questions like that. It seems like they expect to get the answer they're looking for.

Some of these degenerates can really be persistant. I had a guy one time damn near argue with me because he just didn't want to believe Natas was spayed.

"You gonna breed her?"
"Can't, she's spayed."
"Uh Uhhhhhhh! No man, that dog ain't spayed. Is she?"
"Yeah"
"Really?"
"Mm. Yeah."
"Man. You for real?"
"Yes."

For the love of sanity...some people are really desperate.
What kills me is you got these bold ass idiots approaching you right there on the street. 800 dollars right now? The last time I had 800 dollars on me in cash was...don't know. Don't carry cash with me like that. Shady shady shady.

your awesome,,LOL,,thats how I look at it to,,when its my time then its my time,,but if people keep pulling guns out on you I don't want to be next to you when its your time LOL,,thats why in a confrontational situation I stand real close to the person,,make it hard to pull a gun or a punch.

Lol. At the age of 14(I'm 19 now) was sitting in my moms car waiting for her while she ran into my Uncle's to give my brother some money. Well out of nowhere 5 cop cars pulled up surrounded the car. All cops had their guns drawn and one came up to the window(I was reading a magazine so I didnt even notice) tapped on the glass with his gun and when I looked up he started screaming "Alicia get out of the car face down!" My name isnt even Alicia. Doesnt even start with A. My mom came out and is now upset. Screaming her name is not Alicia, thats not Alicia, Thats my 14 yr. old daughter! And then suddenly one of the cops look down at this Alicia's picture and goes "oh thats not her they just have the same haircolor" and they get in their cars and drive away. I didnt even get a I'm sorry nothing! The whole time I'm thinking holy crap a couple of trigger happy cops were about to blow my a$$ away! I can laugh about it now but I at the time thought I was gonna piss my pants! LOL

As a bartender I would talk big game to a trouble maker. Hell, I've physically pushed em out, me 100 lb chick and them...bigger. I look for the smallest point of resistance that incurrs the most pain, fingers are great. But that fool pulls a gun, I don't know. I'm not scared of a beat down, but guns might just bring me down a notch. I'd either be blessed with some kung fu cripple cricket move for him or the ability to run through the wall.

I get that shit all the time I was convicted on felony charges in 2001 and everytime I get pulled over the cops come up to my window with their guns drawn so guns really don't bother me it just pisses me off that I still have to go through this shit I've completely changed my life and haven't been in any trouble since then.

Thats not fair at all I don't understand why they treat people like that.

Yup, I agree, When my #'s picked,
... see yah....

and as far as all the dog comments, I would term them as ignorance at its finest. There are certain areas/cities that I will avoid going to, just because of this reason. The areas I frequent are somewhat remote. If I'm in the city, however, I wear head phones and tune 'em out...

I've had a couple of those "how much for that dog" encounters. Thinking about it pisses me off. One of these days I'm gonna hurt somebody if it keeps up.

Just read the news section to see how much justice we got in this country now...
So you did the crime truegames and you did the time and now you are gonna pay for the rest of your life for your mistake? I know some ex-cons that I would trust with my life and the rent money and I know some that I would never turn my back on(And I could say the same for all the "law-abiding" citizens I know too)...I hate this gun craziness in our country...I've had guns pulled on me, but I still did what I wanted (and thought at the time was right). Fortunately my judgement turned out to be OK as I haven't been shot (yet).
Still there are sure some places in my town I do NOT go to...No question that a lot of cops are gun crazy "cowboys".
Yeah, Marty, no one knows the day or hour when you are gonna go, it's your time...
I just do the best I can, like everyone else...lol

I had a similar experience. I went to a guys' house with my then boyfriend and we got practically raided. They told me that they were gonna "keep an eye on me from now on." Pfft. To think we only went there to say goodbye to his close friend because he was going into the Army...

LauraJean-I have a friend that lives in Vallejo. It is in a horrible area but there are some really nice parts and i know what you mean about those cops out there.

Kept reading about all these guns and such. Being from Canada this does not come into play very much, however, when my memeory goes back to the US I remember all the times that guns were insinuated into any given situation. From being threatened with a hidden gun to having guns shown and pulled on me by both sides of the law. Sheesh. I'm glad I'm Canadian.

I haven't had anyone come up to me looking to buy my dog? He's a beauty. I don't know whether I should be mad but, then again, I remember being macho and thinking about what I would do if a gun were pulled on me? Sorry I even thought about askin' that question to the universe so I guess I'll be happy that I am not asked to sell my friend.

As a rule, I suppose, the people around here aren't much into fighting animals. The closest to it is the idiot "I got my dog under voice control" Shepherd or Rottweiller owner that enjoys seeing its dog dominate any other dogs that are around. I suppose that if I went into the cultures that have renown for liking to fight dogs then I'd probably have my fill of idiots that want to buy my pal or mate him with some... ?

Mr/Mrs/Ms Universe... I ain't askin'!
