Reward offered in puppy killings



A reward of $3,500 has been offered for the arrest and conviction of the individual who was seen snapping the necks of 10 "pit bull" puppies and throwing their bodies in a trash bin in St. Paul earlier this month. The reward is being offered by the Humane Society, an anonymous donor and Crime Stoppers.

"We hope this reward encourages a quick resolution to this sad and senseless situation" says Janelle Dixon, HSCA executive director. "We ask that anyone with information to please call Crime Stoppers at 952.888.2375."

The suspect has eluded arrest in this case – the reward will be distributed to the person or persons who can identify and locate and/or provide eyewitness testimony leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.

Officers found the dead puppies, with broken necks, in a commercial trash bin, investigators said. The remains were removed by the city's animal control officers.

Authorities were looking for the suspect, a slender man between 18 and 20 years old with braided hair. Police said the man's eyes are out of alignment and he has a gap in his front teeth.

You know some people will neve get it. They bitch because we have them and are out hunting for reasons dot stick it in our asses and take the dogs and kill them their selves and wne someone culls his dogs the very same but thumpers bitch about that too. They need to get a live or shoot themselved in the head. Dog peope cull dogs and pups it is the way it is and has been for centuries. Get over it and accept that not evey one is a baby and has to take their dog to the vet to do a pet owners job.

I need to find the initial article, but he was in no means culling dogs. If memory serves me correctly, he had gotten into an arguement with his girlfriend & got pissed off so he killed all the puppies. There's a difference here. To take out your anger on an innocent creature be it dog, cat, horse, etc. only means you are too big a pu**y to hurt yourself.

Until they catch this guy nobody will know why he killed the pups, but maybe he had a good reason to do so. Maybe he couldn't afford to take care of a bunch of pups, and he didn't want to add to the already crazy population of homeless dogs in shelters. So many dogs are put to sleep every day in shelters because people believe that every puppy should get a chance. Well why not give the dogs that are in the shelter a chance and destroy the pups if they are not worth breeding.

Men who do things like killing those puppies are often likely to graduate to doing the same things to people. And even if he was culling, if you need to cull, do so humanly and decently.
