Permission to Cross Post:
The MO dept of agriculture has issued a memo to all MO
licensed breeders that outlines the facts regarding who
does not have the authority to enter/inspect your
premises. This is in response to NUMEROUS reports of
unauthorized personnel attempting to gain access using
phony badges, uniforms, ID etc. and occassionally
asking local law enforcement to accompany them under
the premise of needing security and aid in an
'investigation'.
What does this have to do with you if
you are outside of MO? Well, the same thing just
happened last night to an APBT show breeder in another
state!!!
DO NOT let anyone in you house without a
warrant and ask for a badge # and write down their
license plate. Ask them to wait, then call the police
dept. and report someonbe you suspect of impersonating
law enforcement. If you are a commercial kennel, the
ONLY person you have to allow in is your state or USDA
inspector! We all know who is behind this and the have
alloted millions to keep it going.
