View Full Version : Driver, Pit Bull On The Run After Crash On 695

Baltimore,MD -- WJZ's Captain Mike Perry reports that a van towing a trailer drove off the outer loop of 695 near Harford Rd. and crashed into a ditch off the side of the highway for no apparent reason. The driver then apparently got out of the van with a pit bull and fled the scene.
Police are currently in search of the driver and are not sure exactly as to why he took off running or why the vehicle crashed.
The outer loop is backed up all the way to White Marsh as a result of the crash. Only two lanes are currently open to traffic.

So if they don't know who the driver was. How do they know the exact breed of the dog? It was probably a beagle.

Thats what I was thinking when I read it lolIt is funny on one hand yet fustraiting on the other. They don't know diddly about the dude but they know the breed of the dog. Scares me. They sure think they can tell allot looking at the rear end of a dog. lol Seems like someone would have waited to put that in the paper till they actually had some information. The real target becomes the dog. Not the rest of it. Hell for all they know he shit his pants or was having a stroke. I suppose they think the Pit bull caused the accedent. lol

A suspect who fled the scene of an accident this morning was found about 100 yards away in a thicket with his pit bull type dog. Both appeared to be suffering from an accute case of the poopies.
An investigation is pending, but police have stated the dog is thought to have crammed the tainted chimichanga down the man's throat after realizing the food had gone bad. Immediate legislation has been brought before a federal judge suggesting all pit bulls be banned from traveling in cars on interstates to prevent further incidents. Pit bulls are known to be aggressive back seat drivers, and studies show they have caused at least 2.2 fatal car accidents since 1957.

Where do you come up with this stuff?!The craziness alone is probably the cause, but I was an English major with a double minor in Journalism and Creative writing. I was well into my Senior year before I realized Journ. and Creative Writing are polar opposites. The result? An English savvy mutt with an overactive imagination. A purebred news journalist has little creative flare, and all purebred creative/fiction writers are charismatic/borderline nutty. :D
