Does this blood still exist in tight form? If so could anyone point me in the right direction? Also I would like to hear from people that have experiance with this blood. Any Info or storys on Butcherboy,Staber or any of the other greats from this line would also be appreciated.

Can you be a little more spacific ?It's around. I know there is some on the West Coast.
I'm sure you already know this but Staber was a 4xW and produced Geltz Bosco 4xW. There's also some Clouse blood behind Dirty Mary (2xW)(ROM), Crums Creamator(2xW) Ch Anderson's Tonka (ROM), Ch Bryan'ts Assassin, and a couple other champs and 1xW.

Good looking dog nice ped also
I'm going up to MI this weekend to see some people. I'll ask about some Clouse blood while I'm there. I think your pup's sire has a touch of Clouse in him.
Is Clouse and Klaus the same name, just goofs on spelling?

Quick question: Are Clouse dogs typically rednose? Or do they vary in color? Seems like a lot of the Clouse dogs I've seen are rednose, and likewise some of the rednose breeders I've looked at claim heavy Clouse blood, or Clouse/Hemphill.

WW2 keep me poasted on that. Clouse threw the sire? Whare? Im don't know about the Clouse /Klaus thing could be a spelling errer I guess but I doubt it. Thay would have had to change the C to a K and throw in a A to make that mistakeI'm going up to MI this weekend to see some people. I'll ask about some Clouse blood while I'm there. No, no. I think he has some Clouse in him. Just a touch of it, though. Look through his ped. I would but the gym is calling my name. I'll let you know what I find out this weekend. Later.

You are talking dogs bred from Bert Clouse? The Klaus thing throws you off. I dont know if its the same guy misspelled on purpose or what. If you follow the peds of the old Clause dogs the names are changed to Klaus. Kinda strange, maybe some old timers can shed some light on the subject??
Since the Clouse dogs are so old, it would be hard to find them in pure form bred for the right reasons. IMO the Klaus dogs you are speaking of wouldnt be considered OFRN cause he used Corvino,Hubbard, Heinzl, Colby, Tudor as well as the Wallace hemphill stuff. Now remember the Wallace/Hemphill stuff was the real deal back in the day, now days its primarily bred for the name/show/OFRN prestige.
I guess what I'm saying is that many good dogmen started their yards with that blood and evolved it into dogs with their name on them, like Patrick's. I wouldnt be so focused on getting a pure Clouse/Klaus bred dog because the performers would be pretty far back in the ped. I'm not saying it aint possible to find one, just maybe more of a headache than its worth.
Wouldnt a tightly bred Bolio dog be up your alley?? That is a PROVEN dog off his breedings that's blood has stood the test of time. That way you can make crosses for performers instead of pretty papers or brood stock.
Just my 2 cents take or leave it. Just trying to help.

Lone Wolf,
Saw that you made an effort to type a succession of question marks. Did you have a question about my Clouse website? I posted the link in the event anyone else might have an interest in the line. After all, even though it is an older thread, there was a request for information about this fine family of dogs. Let me know if I may help you with something.

Mallard since you are quite knowledgable about the Clouse bloodline , what's your take on a dog bred like this?

I think she's one hell of a well bred dog. Roughly 2/3's Clouse. Champion Jack bred back to his Mother from a yard that has kept the Clouse blood straight for 30 years.
I have seen a local dog bred similar, doubled up on Ch. Jack.
