I been lookin' at your seatbelt collars for awhile. One of my females broke her collar the other day. It was a double thick leather, real good colar, and I replaced it with a 2" nylon collar. This collar is tearing her neck up!! Would that seatbelt collar be better for her neck? Or do I need to go back with a leather collar? Never had this problem with the leather. Please respond. Also, your site says they fit 15"-22". Is that the actual size of the neck, or the length of the collar, and do they adjust to be this length. Reason for so many questions is that I am looking at buyin the 10 instead of just one. Maybe I should buy the one and see how it is huh?

15"-22" refers to actual neck size.

If your dog is wearing thier neck out, I recommend 3-ply seatbelt or 4-ply seatbelt/nylon.

I wouldnt worry about sizing on Stillwaters collars, they are basically a one-size-fits all. I threw one on a 30 lb. mutt, and the 150 lb. mastiff actually wore one for a few days. Both were on the extreme end, the 30 lb. dog is on the smallest hole, and the mastiff was on the largest...but they literally wore the same collar. That doesnt happen much.

I can't tell you how many leather collars I used to go through back 15 or so years ago Maybe 20 years. Hmm yes well I am getting old. lol I use 2'' collars now and have no issues. Shane has some real nice collars. As a Brother I will always recomend him. And as far as I can tell he can't be beat in price either. May be the dye in the collar doing that to your dog. Did you wash it first? by the way I like that little black pup you have there.

LOL! How 'bout a sale for those of us who only have 1 or 2 dogs? ;)

Don't mind me. I can't afford to buy anything right now anyway. My dog has more collars than most ladies have shoes, but I still start drooling when I see collar specials. :D

thnx for the props my friend, she's definately a handful!! The collar is one that I had on another dog, an extra I had in case of emergency, which is exactly what happened when she broke the other collar. First one I ever had break that was made like that. Her neck is getting tore up from the rubbing. She is a chain snatcher!! I had her on a cable run, about 50', and she would take off running and about the end of the run she would leap into the air and the chain would snatch her like crazy. If she didnt have a strong neck, it would break it. She'll do that till she gets tired of it, then will harrass the neighbor's shepard for awhile. the leather didn't rub like the nylon is, that's why I am hoping for the seatbelt to work. Looks like there will be some seatbelt collar's in my near future.

BTW my grandfather was a 32nd.

LOL. Now that has to be a riot to watch. Scarey too. Gesh. Gretchen likes to break chains I gave up on cables a while ago. I am suprised that Count does not break chains as he is a male and is larger. But he really is a mellow dog on the chain. Not mellow when something comes into the yard that has fur and don't belong. I have to check my hardware out every day.

I am a 32nd also. Your grandfather had to have been a great man and very respected. Mine were too. for several generations. It is always good to find a Brother every where one goes.

Bump for a good guy that actively fights BSL and humaniacs. Support this guy because he supports our entire community! I've always heard great things about his collars and equipment.

Kind Regards,

Yup, I too recommend his collars. I bought a few of them from him which have endured to everything my dog has dished it.

Good price and better quality. (registered Trademark of Rocky's Human)

Yes, my grandfather was a great man. He was a doctor in LA (Lower Arkansas) and many believe him to have been a saint. He was a different kind of doctor. He had a working knowledge of medicine. By that I mean that he did not use drug company medications, he designed his won medicines. I was speaking to one of the pharmacists the other day and he was telling me that he still had many of his "recipees". It was a very interesting conversation. People around there would tell other doctors not to prescribe anything for them but Dr.-______'s meds. He helped folks everywhere he went, whether they needed money, time, counceling, whatever. I just wish I had known him better!!

I reckon I am sold on the collars. I'll be placing my order Friday.

I wish I had known him too. Heck I may have met him in lodge or at SR temple. This is my 22nd year. Sure seen allot of good brothers come and go over the years. But it is just a step over another treashold. You'll see him again and will have forever to get to know him better. One thing is you can learn more about him from his brothers that knew him. A man like that makes a big impact on the fraternaty and touches many hearts.

I use USPS for most orders, and UPS for big orders.
