let me start by saying i love this site, i'm learning tons about the breed..

does a game bred dog mean that his parents proved themselves in the [] ?

That all depends on who you ask. Some would say that no dogs should be bred that are not game tested. This would ensure that curs are not bred to produce more curs. And only breeding tested stock would produce better dogs. Some would define game bred dogs as those that come from working dogs and not necessarily for the []. I won't state my true feelings about this on here and many others won't either....

thanksIt means the dogs parents should have proved themselves in their game test....not neccessarily in the [] but in their test. But since 1976 that dont happen anymore and we all know its illegal so there is no point in trying to find out.

thankswell at some point in time it is a given that one of the dogs in the past generations of your animal had been matched.probably not anything relevent in the pedigree like after 4 generations but you never know.
