Light A Special Candle For Judy, Keeper Of The Flame
For many DogPolitics (http://www.dogpolitics.com/)readers out there, you know Judy Schreiber as a household name. And in case you don't know her name, Judy Schreiber is a legend - a warrior woman on a mission to stamp out fear and ignorance - to defeat BSL - breed specific legislation.

Judy is one of the special people on this earth. She is one of the driving forces of the dog community, the legislative liaison for the Bull Terrier Club of America, and a tireless champion of saving innocent dogs, of breed-neutral dog legislation, and creating dog-friendly, dog-safe communities.
Wherever and whenever BSL rears its ugly head - as the co-organizer of BSL Workshop, each day Judy kept watch to keep us informed. She is a keeper of the flame.
A Terrible Crash
On Monday, August 14th, Judy was in a terrible car crash, another driver broadsided her car. Judy's injuries were so serious that she was transported from South Carolina to a hospital in Savannah, where she could receive more advanced medical treatment.
Judy is in a coma, on life support.
