I think there is some amstaff in there. Why do you want to breed her?
Why were the parents breed?
Just curious because the dogs names i do recognize way back in the ped are ukc show dogs and the dogs in the 1,2,3, generations dont seem to be doin much.

Not any time soon but maybe down the road. The male was just born this week, he's coming from Indiana where you can still get some good stuff. We got her almost a year ago from a friend of a friend and I did'nt know that much about the breed as I do now. I just regognized a few names in the ped and figured it was better than most of the stuff in SoCal. She's a great dog by any means. I know her Sire was a tested dog, but it does'nt make sense why they bred him to what seems to be a Ukc show line.

I think there would be no point in breeding her until you've done something with her to prove that she's worth breeding. And thinking about breeding her to a male that's just born and also unproven? That's kinda getting ahead of yourself. Best bet, if you're unhappy with the bottom half of her ped, don't breed her at all. Spay her and enjoy her as a pet. That would be the responsible thing to do, IMO.

Please explain misterdogman.I can honestly say I have never seen a ped like your dogs. That is all im saying. I wouldnt breed her though. Not to a game dog. Why not a registered Staff or something. Actually and im being dead serious...some staff breeders like just a little Game in their cake...makes a little more rough and tumble specimens that work better...its quite common to take a cur Staff line and throw some game into it in Europe since the Staffs there went thru a popularity phase its hard to find one that is brave any more....and like 14 years ago some well bred and tested staffs from Ireland and Holland that came from tested stock killed a few APBTs in Croatia where it is all legal...so there was at one time some Staffs with game blood and ability...they just went the way of the old Bulldogge...and lost the edge they had as life allowed them to be bred for a family pet and from lack of selective breeding game disappeared...but dont breed to a proven Game bred line...thats just a waste of good sperm.

You know, there are some great lines of AmStaffs, some are VERY athletic capable dogs, just not game. Breed to a quality Staff male if you must breed. I'd do somethings with the dog first to prove she is of breeding quality.

Where's he coming from in Indiana?
What you're talking about is a show & go mix. There's plenty of topics about it on here. I wouldn't breed her. There's no reason to.

There are some quality dogs on the west. They are not easy to find but there are plenty of them.
