(hard) But Anyways I Once Had Two Dogs (rip Bronx) Two Year Old Boston Terrier (jada Big Bro)some Asshole Cant Follow Speed Limit. But Anyway Off The Subject. So I Know How It Feels To Have Two And The Work It Takes. And By All The Pics On The Site Everyone Seems To Feel The Way I Do. Beside The New Baby Why Was Everyone So Against A New Dog Or Was The Baby The Only Reason.(which Is A Good Reason) Also Alot Of Members With Multiple Dogs Also Have Children. So At Some Point People Went Through What Im Going Through True Or No Im Just Wondering Later Everyone

Is this going to be your first child? If so I would wait. You are going to be busy with baby and a new puppy or dog is going to be a lot to deal with, trust me. I got Mercedes when Blaize was about 1 1/2, she was 8 weeks old. They grew up together and have a wonderful bond. I wouldnt have gotten her before he was born though, too much to handle being a first time mom. ;)

Trust me,you don't ever want to be in my situation. It hurts. If for some reason you get the dog and don't get to train it properly for reasons beyond your control (like being a daddy), you might just find yourself making the spirit chilling decision: beloved dog or beloved baby. The choice is obvious, but it still hurts.

Loved the video! The dog has certainly taken over the couch and the bed! LOL!

I can't speak for everyone,,but when I ask a question its because I am not sure,,so I put it out to the round table and go with what the majority says,,when my kids were little I went many years with no dogs,,that was just me,,I just felt it was in my/their best interest at the time,,when my kids were old enough to scoop poop I got more dogs,,j/k

In my case, I had all my dogs before I even became pregnant. Of course I would've loved to get another puppy while pregnant, I did not for the sake of the pup & for my sake. Furthermore, I will not get another dog until possibly after the new year & even that is a big "maybe".

I am proud of you. I for one was hopeful you would wait till at least you get a taste of how much that bably is going to cost you emotionally and cost wise. I just want you to be able to budget both a new baby and a new dog. They both require vast amounts of your time. I pray that every thing goes good and when the baby is born post up some pictures I like to see new babies.

newborns take alot of time . dr appts, feedings, changing, diapers, a new born needs 24 hour care. its very hard to juggle a baby and a puppy. i have 3 dogs and 2 stepkids, when we would go on vacation it was hard to find a dog sitter for 3 dogs. having a newborn will be stressful on your girlfriend and a pup if you are the one working during the day, as the pup will need work too.. you cant just stick a pup in a crate while the newborn is around.

Well, there are a couple of obvious reasons. They might have a good set up for more than one dog, and perhaps they just got lucky and have dogs with low dog aggression. In cases where people have several real deal Pitbulls in a lot of cases ONE dog is the house dog, the others are yard dogs, on secure chain set ups and or kennles.

Glad you've decided to wait. I'd think you'd be too overly excited about your baby's arrival, than to want another pup at this time. A baby is a big responsibility & requires alot of motherly time. That was my big concern with this. A pup might take away precious moments with your new lil' one. Either way, I wish you much luck & lots of rest.
