I'm back!!!

Sorry I was gone so long guys. I missed all of you and the site a ton. I got a new job and it's hard to talk online as much but I'll try! I was gone for a week on business in Fl. then right when I got back I got bit on the arm by a golden x lab mix that got into it with Kasha my older APBT. The state took both dogs and I don't know if I'll be able to get Kasha back. They told me that because of her breed they thought she was the one that bit me but still the golden x lab gets to go home! Stupid ppl. the bites on my arm measeure about an inch and a half between the front canines. I'm sorry but my girl has a huge mouth and I highly doubt that she would make such small bites up my arm. It was the other dog I know it. I didn't see which dog bit me cause I had Kasha's collar in my hand at the time to hold her off and I turned my head to look for the owner of the other dog so I didn't see which one bit me. The dog just bit and let go pretty quick. My arm started to bleed all over Kasha when I was pulling her away. By that time Kasha had blood all over her head from me pulling at her to get her away from the other dog, which wasn't on a leash! The Police only saw that Kasha had blood all on her head so they placed blame on her. Allas I don't know what will happen to my pretty girl. She will be sorely missed that's for sure. I really want her back. As of now they have her in quarantine for rabiess reasons. Ugh! Well any way I'm much better now I can drive and stuff again ( I drive a standard so it was pretty hard for a while. ) any how I missed you guys and wanted you all to know what was up with me and why I was gone so long.

Jesus christ that sux major ass, i can't believe they are blaming it on ur dog. We all know that cur's like to cur snap and when they do they just bite anything in reach, i feel really bad that this is happening to u, hope u get ur dog back soon. If i was in ur shoes i would be at the shelter where ur dog is at and start a damn riot if they didn't give my dog back. thats total bullshit that they don't even know the facts but blame it on ur dog effin @$$holes, i hate the law

I would blame it on the lab mutt either way. I would have a patholigist examine the wound and measure both dogs mouths to match it. I hate it when people don't watch their dogs.

Sorry that happened,,I am surprised they took your dog,,even if your dog did bite u,,thats just not right,,if your dog bit someone else,,that would be one thing

Hello! Welcome back! That sucks... truely... In my state if a dog bites and is quaranteened, you can have your dog back if it's the first time. It sounds dumb to me, what if the wrong dog is in quaranteen? I would speak to a supervisor of the animal control, what if you are right and the other dog had rabies? I know, I'm throwing a bone, but I would use that to my advantage. Take some tape of your own and measure it yourself, if you are indeed right, make a huge stink to the manager or whoever. It's their job to quaranteen the RIGHT animal.
