I know it is against the rules to post emails from a private discussion, but I can say after discussing the Denver Pit Bull issues with Mr. Korey Nelson simply put he believes there are people like him in this country that have the right to dictate to others like the folks here what kind of dog one may own. He states none of us have the legal right to own any breed of dog we want. This is alarming. My husband is a bit of a paranoid when it comes to the gov't taking our freedoms away, I always thought he was a bit hysterical as I have worked with the US gov't my whole career. But a single exchange with Mr. Nelson makes me swallow just a little harder.

I did my career for the Govt. I can tell you this. Your rights mean very little to the polititions of this nation. Democtrats claim they do but they slip bills in with a face that smiles with a coat tail rider that takes yet another one of your rights. I hate change but It is time to take back the control of our nation. The government has too much power and needs to be toppled. Sometimes war is best. Passive bickering doesn't solve anything. Most people have no idea that every thing they do is monitored. And done quite easily. Tracking targets is so easy it is pathetic. Even when they think they are covering their every track we found them and hunted them down like rats in a glass maze. No place to hide. I have corrisponded with the dick head Korey as well. I don't like him one bit. I hope he has nightmares some day of his evilness.

As a scientist by trade my position is there are rational solutions that truely target the root cause of any issue and it is time to target real solutions that fix problems. I am alarmed that popular platforms fly in the face of what will work and that politicians turn their backs on good solutions for the sake of their own interests and not the interests of the people they represent...like was said earlier "we the people". There are lots of rational and smart folks in this country and we can solve any problem if we work together, so I say to the politicians - get on board because I am the "the people" too.

I am not a scientist by trade but I do have several degree's a B.S. in Biochemistry and in psycology. I was Army Special Forces covert operations to be a little more exact by trade. Basically I hunted down foe's and extracted information and releived them of the burden of breating. Any way in that job. I learned that Polititions have little knowledge of anything and really act more on the behalf of who pays them more. This lawyer is an excpetion because he isn't quite a politition yet. He utilizes a dangerous belief that he has the vast and supreme knowledge to deside for others what they can and cannot do in their own lives. God gave us free will and this lawyer feels he has reached the status where he can overrule that and take our free will away because he feels we are too stupid to make our own proper path in desiding for our selves what is best.

I agree, and it is troubling he is not getting paid to espouse his beliefs, so it must be a means to an end. I have been on this forum now for about 20 months, collectively their is enough information to establish the ground work for a viable solution to dangerous dogs, and the great part about this free and knowledgable information is it is born out of experience, it is tested it is proven and best of all what works for a Pit Bull will work for a Yorkie. Not one animal expert believes BSL solves the problem and right here on game dog is enough expertise to implement a workable plan.....the desire is not with Mr. Nelson which leads me to believe he is not really interested in making people safe from dangerous dogs. He has his eye on another ball. Alarming.

Want to hear something even more frightening? In 2009, the census plans to hire 100,000 people and give them GPS units. They will then go to EVERY standing structure in the nation and record precisely who lives there. In other words, the government will know were every person in the country lives, no matter how well they might think they are hidden, if this plan works.
I heard this on NPR's, all things considered. Oh, and local governments are very anxious to get their hands on the data once its generated.

This information is already available with the touch of a button...aaahhh technology. The larger concern is where does the data go and who uses it for what and that little tid bit is probably highly sensitive....shudder

No he gets paid to do a job not voice his oppinion on dictatorship. You are so very right there is a vast knowledge sourse on this forum alone to writ scores of books. BSL is just another form of control that is all there is too it.
Pennsooner, good thing my house is under ground eh/ So is my shop and barn. Want to know something more scary they don't need gps to do that. I found my targets often off of bank account actions, credit cards, visa check ins, Hotel reservations the wonderful tracking devises installed in most cars now. Your cell phone, pager, Ipod, Pc, Lap top, land lines. varios other account uses. It was way too easy to find my targets Hell I would sit in a hotel room rented under a fictional name payed by the Govt and kept track of it all via satalite and computer. I would drink a few beers and go take care of business and be back on base in a few days. Cake walk. I don't see why they don't just shove a pill sized tracking device in every person and be done with it stamp 666 on people and stick a microchip inthem and send them happily on to hell. wee.

okay ,, well , talking about it is one thing , doing something about it is another we know this country fought alot of battles to be what it is... everytime the people became enraged they went to war to fight for what they believed in ,, unless , the ones complaining are willing to stand up and be heard where it counts , no nothing will change they dont even know you are alive and more so they dont care....before this turns around on me ,, yes i do take action and i do speak at city council when the argument is in accordance with what i believe. . something simple to keep you apprised of the outrage is ..moveon.org and you too can see all the injustice far beyond this one that goes on in the name of your government......

what brand? 96 is when it started becoming common. It is part of your anti thieft, onstar, traking what ever they use to market it at the time deal. It has its plus side if your car gets stolen if they act with in the first hour or so. any time after that a good strip crew will have that thing in the river. Tracking devices are not something new. We had them in WWII They were large and not easily hidden but by the time Vietnam rolled around we had better more easily hidden ones and now they can be the size of a tic tak or smaller and there you are. When you are using your cell phone how do you think it knows where the satilite and vis versa is. Those great images from the sky. Try gps.com and get a photo of your house yard and plants on your back deck. Nothing new. Not a secret really just slipped in there with out people looking.

guess its thought these things are strictly for our own use as we purchase them if the govt didnt have its greedy little hands in them , id be real suprised good thing is they can find you if you are in peril thru the tracking on your cell bad thing is they can find you period whether you like it or not.. you carry any hightech devices , better believe they can hone in on you. . im not a wanted woman so no problem for me... im quite boring and ordinary so not like they comin for me .. but , now get your name on the want list for anything and not only do they have your computer addy and the location but they can get all your info you ever put in there ... so tracking ,, hey thats the least of it.... btw for the first time ever .. since i had so many thefts of my dogs , they are going to get microchipped.. used to be in my area you could leave door wide open and walk away and come home nuthin missin... well, sadly no more...very sad.. seems the local govt decided that it would behoove them to get more tax dollars .. so they put out all the small affordable housing and dumped everyone to the streets ,, next put up housing so huge and expensive its like buying a local highschool ,, shame ,, all the vets in them big wheelchairs no where to go.. and most the city council are realtors/developers got rich on it.. currently .. the local aspca.. has gone non city /gov assisted and NOW , YESSSSS !! you may if you qualify .. adopt a pitbull.....yyyyeeeaaayyyy!! first time in 30 yrs... city will still kill any they get in there grasp ..but ,, kudos norfolk spca ....

Newbieturtlepits, that stinks that your dogs get stolen. I have only had that attempted once. The dude didn't get the chain undone before I gave him a load of buck shot. I suppose being that the city has moved in on you the protection of your property becomes limited to a ball bat or a bow. A good cross bow would work. A person should have the right to protect their own property and self. One thing is for sure you have to know the laws and legal way of doing things in your state and local community. Were I live on the township books it is still legal to hang a man that steals domestic animals. By rope, by the neck till dead. I have not seen it done in many years but I have seen a few get shot for it. I know many folks around here and none of them had any problems when the sheriff did the report and had the body removed. Times are changing though and not for the better. I suppose the day will come that I will get jailed for protecting my own. It will likely mean my death as I wont go peacefully. I would rather die in a hail of fire than to yellow belly up. Some things are just a matter of principle
Crisgr212- any thing can think but that doesn't make them free. Only able to think as they wish. Freedom is a matter of not having restraints. Thinking is a very limited freedom. So far our minds are not invaded yet. But are you sure they have not been invaded? Most people don't know that when they buy a car over $10,000 in cash the IRS is allerted. They really get pissy when you drop $30,000 on a new Mustang. The dealer will tell you about it. Call one up. Well I don't know the rules or laws of Greece so that may not be true there. I have only visited for the food. I love the food down your way. And the view is nice as well. I liked the personality of the culture. I suppose being retired Military gives me a different out look on the way life should and should not be. Be true to your brethren and eleminate the enemy. Not a funtional mindset for civilian life. Maybe I will get that down in 21 years. Much of it is inate responce now.

heres one for the books.. i may shoot someone ,, front side only ,, cant shoot if they turn around , becuz they consider that as if they were done with the attack and leaving ,, and their not at the attack ,, might be turning around to get a crowbar .. or machete,,,best have an excellent reason that guy got shot from behind...if they come on your property to steal one of your beloved pets you can protect it.. with deadly force equal to deadly force .. if * it applies now same place .. different date.. you are being accosted and your dog defies the criminal and bites said criminal....now you are in big caacaa ,, your dog if it is not a pit will be given another chance.. and you will register your beloved dog and only walk when muzzle is on and certain times of the day when john q public is not readily accessable.... now let it be a pit and thats harboring a dangerous animal...and the one bite rule is executed and so is the dog .. on the spot when they find it even if its on the end of the leash you are holding on to... sad but true....
