Hey!!

It's been a loooong time huh?:D Well, I don't have but a few seconds at the moment, but I wanted to let everyone know that all is fine & that baby Cole arrived....although 6 wks early. I developed preeclampsia & began having stomach pains which turned out to be my liver & kidneys as they were beginning to go downhill trying to support the pregnancy (all complications of preeclampsia). So I was admitted to the hospital on Mon. June 12th thinking I would be there long term (for at least 3 wks before they would take the baby), but after my health & the baby's began to turn downhill, they decided to take him on Thurs. June 15th. Cole Thomas was born at 7:47 pm & weighed in at 5lbs 1.4 oz & was 17 1/2 inches long. I remained in the hospital until the following Tues., but Cole was in the NICU for a little over a week. He weighed 4 lbs 13 oz when we were able to bring him home.

Cole is now 3 weeks old & doing great. I'm doing fine as well....just a little tired (these feedings every 2-3 hrs takes a toll on you!) The dogs absolutely LOVE him & Wrigley & DD are already showing protective tendencies over him when other people come over.

I'm not at my home right now, but when I get back home, I will post some pics of our newest addition.

Glad to hear everything turned out ok.It's amazing the things that can be done for early births. (My son was in NICU for MANY months...)

We miss you! Enjoy your new little one. Being a mom is the BEST job there is, imo. Take a LOT of pics=they grow sooooo fast!

What a beautiful baby. I want one. Ah I will just have to spoil someone elses for now. Hugs to you and the family. What a wonderful blessing a baby must be. I feel blessed just to see the photo's of him. Perfect little feller. Hope you all get better. and your regain your health. Sounds scary to think you could both have been lost if it was not too many years ago. Medicine has come a long way over the past decade or two. Praise God!
