AST. They are showbred dogs.

No, they are not Amstaff. They are ADBA show bred and have won UKC, they are titled in weightpull with ADBA and UKC, obedience, agility, whatever John felt like doing I guess, but they are not AKC dogs, do not come from AKC dogs. They are really nice dogs, very intelligent and very much pit bulls.

Notice the key word(s) in there? They are staffs in my opinion Marduk, albeit good looking staffs. If you care to understand why most will call them staffs, run a search, its been discussed many times.

But they do agility as well? If they work the dogs, and they are from APBT lines, then why would you think they're AmStaffs? I understand if they're just show dogs then you'd say they're AmStaffs, but if they're being worked, then why aren't they APBTs?

How long has it been since you could actually say they are from "Apbt lines"? I dont know,so I'm honestly asking. I'm just guessing they have a fair bit of show breeding behind them, not gamedogs. As far as I'm concerned Agility is just a form of excersise, its not a form of work. Your opinion may differ.

Then I give, I guess there aren't any APBT out there anymore. Just because you have dogs bred for perfomance sports and you show them doesn't mean you have an Amstaff. No AKC blood in these dogs. I own a Victorino dog and I am familiar with Amstaffs, believe me, not even close to being the same dogs.

Agility is a lot of work. It takes a lot out of the dog to train for that sport, I find it quite difficult. It challenges them mentally and physically. Now, I know it's nothing like hog hunting, but quite frankly, I'd probably shit a brick if I ever came across one of those things lol. So, that's just not an option for us haha.

Some people on this site are telling you how it is, keep closing your ears though. That's how one learns.
