Bsl Again This Is Getting Old

hey guys I just wanted to post a BSL update.

My home town is going krazi right now. They are wanting BSL here in sedalia missouri. We have one hell of a visious dog ordance for all dogs which I think is great and the media is on our side over it, but there is city council members wanting more. The media or local news paper pointed out that they need better enforcement on our already visious dog ordance, but there is a couple people that got there toy dogs chewed up by a pit and are complaining about it. One of the city council members said they did now want to wait until a child winds up in the hospital or dead over a pit bull. Its kindove going both wheys for us.

this is pathetic.. it isnt right for the good owners to be penalized because of the bad owners...

Make sure you hit those city council meetings. Our club was able to beat some BSL in MO just by really staying in touch with the lawmakers. Don't forget to offer them other alternatives so they don't feel like BSL is their only option. If you can afford it, buy Fatal Dog Attacks (Karen Delise) and Dogs Bite: But Balloons and Slippers are More Dangerous (Janis Bradley), and load up on good statistics.

This is just Politics. Pitbulls make good scapegoats and easy targets for Politicians who want to seem to be "doing something" about a problem. Do your homework and be prepared to argue your case intelligently and forcefully.
