I don't like the smell of beer either. Basically reminds me of every abusive man I've ever met. So I tell the husband "Drink all the Jaeger or whatever you want, but come home smelling like beer and its on." I let Loki sniff a bottle of Apple Pucker one time, figuring she'd sneeze and walk away. But the little kook wanted some of it. (No, I didn't let her touch it. She may have gotten one lick of the bottle before I pulled it away and told her to go find a toy or something.)

First time my dog saw someone smoking a cigarette, she didn't know what to think and started barking at them. It wasn't something I thought to socialize her around because again, I don't like it either. LOL.

I cannot set down a beer in reach with my dogs. They will knock it over and lick it up. I've yelled at them about it before and tried to correct em but they wont listen when it comes too brown bottles. I guess they are just alcy's thats why i keep my beer out of thier reach

well, the weed thing is pretty lame, but i think the OP was saying that they just let the dog SMELL the beer. one of my brother's friends kept putting our cat in his backpack and blowing pot smoke in her face. nedless to say, she was scarred for life.

This may sound strange, but both my older girls were always very interested in beer when they were younger. I couldn't set one down within their reach or it'd be gone. They haven't had any interest in it for years now though. However, my new pups reminded me of those days of being concerned as to where I leave my beer cuz they seem to want to get at it! I just hope they outgrow that like my older girls did....

I really don't see how the owner smoking weed is a huge deal. Maybe it's because of my age, or maybe because I live in Canada where it is not a criminal offense to smoke weed. I don't smoke weed, but that doesn't mean I pass judgement on those who do. I actually hate beer, never drink it, does that mean I should pass judgement on those who do?
