Everything but sparklers and snakes are illegal here in Illinois, so I cant post any pics but you best believe we do it right up here too :D

The aerial stuff is always entertaining but nothing beats a half stick of dynomite. Not saying that anybody in these illegal states does things like that of course, just mentioning what happens to be available 2 hours away, at the Wisconsin border ;)

Who in the hell would give ME fireworks lol i have almost blown my hand off twice. I was drunk the other night and i accidently put a morter upside down in the tube and it blew up in everybody's face (it was funny the next day)

And CB I hear ya, I decided one drunken night last year that I could put out a firecracker in my hand if I squeezed as hard as I could. Needless to say, it didnt work out too well and we all got a good laugh out of it. Know a guy who found a white bomb with the fuse half way gone, picked it up and lit it, went to throw it underhand and it went off by his ass. Blew a couple fingers off and put shrapnel in his ass, that wasnt a pretty sight! Around here if its not a home-made whitebomb it aint shit...North, do any of our little treasures make their way up to you?

Whats a little pain on 4th of July considering what was going on this time 200 years ago, and what we are celebrating.

Man that was a good one!! Took a while to get off the floor!! I am glad I am not the only "smart" one out there!! Glad I quit drinking as it was getting very expensive for me!!

Fireworks are everywhere here. For sound though, never could top the 8 soup cans taped together with the bottoms cut off and a smalll hole on one end, then squirt some lighter fluid inside and whip it around to cause the fluid to become gas and then light the small hole....BAM very loud!!

Ok just to let everyone know, a church not 1/6th of a mile from here put on this display, it shakes the ground here in my yard thats how close it is ;)

My neighbor is a professional pyrotech, who puts on one helluva show every year. Last year's show was rumored to be in the $30,000 area. I can't wait to see this years!
