Next time you decide to breed you dog or don't spay or neuter your animals - Please consider the consequences of what you are doing and how you are impacting their lives and ours... (I am in no way saying that respectable breeders that breed for only the love of dogs are doing a bad thing - this is for the people that are just wanting make a buck and think of their dogs only as dollar signs)

May all the animals that had to come to this tragic end rest in peace...

That was a bit hard for me to take. The black Lab in the barrel looked just like Sofiya. Normally I don't have much problem with those videos, but when I see dogs that look so much like ones I know, it just kills me.

That is so sad, the needless end to so many animals, it,s a shame !! Any animal I,ve ever owned including my pit I have now has always been altered. This is such with my whole family, there is not a dog or cat that is not spayed or neutered. Many of our pets over the years have been strays or adopted from the spca. In the town I live there are so many homeless animals running loose, breeding (especially cats) its a damm shame. You can try to help some , but feels like a losing battle.

Yeah, it may seem like it's a loosing battle. But when I think about that I think of this story that I once heard:
There was this guy that was walking along side the beach and picking up starfish that were washed up on shore. There were millions of them everywhere. As he was walking along he would pick up as many as he could and throw them back out to sea. Someone came up to him and asked him "Why waste your time? You can't possibly pick them all up and throw them back into the sea. It won't matter anyways cause there is so many of them." The guy turned to him and said "That is true, but atleast it will matter to this one" as he was throwing it back into the sea.
When I start to think about how it seems to be a loosing battle - this story always comes to mind. And it is so true. You can't help them all, but you can do what you can...

I LOVE that story, pittie lover, and often refer to it. Even helping one, is helping. I've watched this vid many times, and it never fails to affect me.
Indeed, spay and neuter. It's the only way to decrease the numbers. Good post!

no problem, honey!
Actually, I was going to post that story one evening, but I couldn't think of how to equate it into dog terms... no matter! You did it well!
Nope! For certain! The only failure, is the failure to try!:)
NEVER give up hope!
