hi guys and gals..i was wondering if anyone could help me find another pitbull..i already know that some of you are going to say-"why not adopt"-well thats not exactly looking for..i'm not trying to sound mean or nothing..the dog technically isnt going to be mine, it will be for my girlfriend..i'm just looking for a good puppy that she and i can raise as we did our previous dog..to you who remember he was stolen..it's something about watching a puppy grow that you can't really get out an older dog..i'm not saying older dogs are bad it's just alot places here in Tx you need a whole different application just to adopt a pitbull-then if that passes then comes interviews..look to those who understand me please help me..things aren't the same without a dog in my house..thanx in advance

There are a lot of pups though in rescue too...

Anyway most reputible breeders will also put you through a lot of questions / aplications and home checks as well

Either way good luck in the search. Are you looking for strictly a pet bull??? Or are you or she going to work or show too. Atilla was possibly looking for a home to do therapy work with a pup I believe... you may want to talk to him and see if it is something you'd want to do

There is nothing wrong with wanting him/her to be just a pet. I'd personally rather put a pup in a great pet home than a show or working home that doesn't spend as much time w/ him or doesn't treat the pup as well

I'm going to ask more questions so that maybe someone can help you better...

- inside or outside dog?
- does she own or rent?
- how will you prevent the dog from being stolen again?
- preference in registry or doesn't it matter?

Any other info you want to add that you think may be useful

ok here are my answers #1--it would an inside dog but would play outside and get exercise. #2--i have a house i live on a pretty decent amount of acreage--#3--as for this one it's in the works right now, i plan to put up burglar bars on the main windows, and getting dead bolts for the doors, also i'm kicking my uncle off the land--#4--the registry doesnt matter i mean it would be helpful in some cases but to me doesnt really matter..

Sounds great ... sorry for prying, but the more info you put out there the better chance you've got of finding the right puppy

Good breeders are going to interview you every bit as hard as a rescue will, and you'll end up paying more for the dog. ;) Good luck in your search either way.
