indonesian apbt need help

I just got my first puppy. ( 4days ago) she is 4 months old.
I found out that she always run away when she heard a loud bang / loud sound.
And she will come back again to continued what she was doing with her tail down. Also she will looks confused when other dogs are barking around her. Do you think it is normal ? How can I increase her self confidence ?

Talk to her and reasure her when you see that she is scared. Make sure that she knows the object isn't bad if she cowars from it with her tail down. for example the other day my dog saw a red towel hanging out of the drawer in the kitchen and had never seen anything like that before so she stood her ground and stared at it. I could tell she didn't know what it was and was being frightened by it so I grabed her by her collar and eased her over to the drawer with the red towel and talked to her the whole time she wanted to back away but I wouldn't let her. I opened the drawer and took out the red towel that had been hanging and let her sniff at it to see that it was okay and I told her goood girl see there it's okay! and she went right back to bounding around the house happier than a tick on a big ole' dog!
