I wanted to share this with you guys but a miscellaneous section seems to have gone the road of the dodo bird so I figured since it is shamelessly strewn with positive pit bull references, I get to post it here! lol

Some of you may, or may not know, that my daughter, Raven suffers from Cystic Fibrosis. Well, as a mum of a chronically ill child, you can often end up feeling helpless. I'm not one for enjoying that feeling so I decided to do something about it. With the help of the WONDERFULL couple that runs Powercast Radio, Mark and Susan, and an endless host of just as wonderful volunteers, we've got something on the go! Check it out!

It's just in the beginning stages of organization but I hope if any of you fellow Canadians have a show in your town, or near by, you might consider attending. For those that can't attend, I believe the shows will be aired on Powercast Radio, and there will be merchandise to purchase to help the cause. We are also looking for volunteers so if you think you have anything to contribute your help is more than appreciated!

There is also a myspace page so if any of you myspacers want to add Rockin' For Raven and help spread the word, that would be simply ROCKIN'!

If anyone is in the Kelowna, British Comumbia area, we have the venue set at the Kelowna Community Theater for August 4th, although I think we still need one more band! http://brindleweb.com/rescuebb/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif
