Staff Bull terrier?

I never read about these staffordshire bull terriers, I've just seen some pictures. I think those are some good looking "fireplug" dogs. They game at all or ever? Were they pit dogs? I'm not looking to get one I was just curious. They look tough but I guess looks can be decieving.

There are still some working line Staffs. I guess like with most breeds, you end up with the show lines and then the few people who work to preserve the working dogs of the breed. Really, it's a parallel to what is happening with APBT. The show stock is becoming more and more over done and exaggerated. Look at bull terriers 100 years ago. It's a real shame.

I like the bull terriers too I'm a fan of the little fireplug dogs but I don't know if I would ever get one. I don't really consider most apbt's to be in that catagory but it seems like everyone is trying to breed them low, wide, and blue now. I'm gonna get my two pups altered because I know they arent going to benefit the breed. They are just regular apbt's nothing special to anyone else but me.

They look SO simular to APBT, check this guy out I thought it was fake at first.
