Gardenia is a type of flower I think lol But if you looking for Cardenas it is a heavy Eli blood usually made of Boudreaux type dogs. These dogs are working type dogs not suitable for everyone and any way Cardenas doesnt usually sell to just anyone not his good stuff anyway hehehehehe.

Thanks. A friend of mine insists that this pup he has is heavy Cardena blood but he doesn't have a ped, so I don't know either way. I just wanted to know what all the fuss was over this pup. Any links that I can go to to read about it? Sure do apprciate it. Thanks again !!!

That is my thought. He says he's waiting for the papers to come from a friend of his.

Well, most people when lieing about peds use something more common to the general public such as "oh yeah he's jeep bred, or gator, or colby". And further, if he got the dog from someone who didnt know the dogs, he would probably just refer to it as an "Eli" dog.
These dogs arent really popular yet in the states(to joe blow), theres plenty here, but those that have it generally arent allowing access to pups to just anyone, they are keeping it for their own personal use-because it works, and it works well.

He told me the dog comes from mexican soil. So, I'm assuming his buddy knows someone. The reason the dog is with him is because his friend doesn't have room for her where her lives. But get this, he called my husband yesterday and said he's getting ready to sell the pup cause he's in a financial bind and he's going to sell her for $300 with no papers. What do you all think?

First you would have to know what you are looking for in a dog of course. If your looking for a game dog, that sounds like the way to go. If your looking for a low-energy house dog to play with other pets, I wouldnt advise it. I dont know what you own know, or what your situation is.
How old is the dog?
You'd be hard pressed to raise even a 6 month old pup for less than 300, not including the purchase price. If this is a legit Cardena dog from its home, I'd tell your friend to get about 15 more. LOL

Yeah what 14Rock said above but it all comes down to is how much do you trust your friend.

14rock the pup is only about 12-16 wks old. I have eli blood on my yard now. I am financial stable to take the dog as I have 10 on my yard now. I'm just not familiar with the bloodline as I am still learning, thats why I asked many of you as you all seemt o have much knowledge. Now, I trust this friend and I know the guy that he got the pup and some of his other dogs from. This friend of his is an avid dogmen and is all about gameness. He has given me soem great advice and has been sort of a mentor if you would. But being that I am new to the bloodline part of things, I would really love to see the pedigree and his friend still hasn't gotten it back yet. What to do????
