I'd like to know if anyone else is feeding this food or has used it in the past. I'd also like to hear some opinions on feeding a 30 protein 22 fat food daily. Dogs get over 1 hr of good exercise almost daily so weight gain isnt an issue. I've done forum searches on this food and came up with nothing.

I LOVE the food so far(3mths). Small hard black turds with no odor and they dry up almost overnight.

This thread is about ENHANCE PRO FOOD ONLY YIS

Never heard of it, do you have an ingredients list or a website to where we can check it out ourselves?

Here it is. The chicken by-product meal isnt the best choice in my book but i tried it anyway. It costs around $25.00 40 lbs at my local HIGH priced feed store but they have me over a barrel. I bet it'd be cheaper anywhere else.

Hmmm. Its only 2% more protein than I fed before. If you have any clinical studies proving that, i'd like to see them. Because I DO have some that say you are wrong. That has NEVER been proven as far as I know.... Although the book I have is a few years old. Ill post article in a while. Not being a smart a$$ just asking for legitimate proof behind your claims.

What it says is that chronic excessive protein intake without the neccesary exercise can ONLY result in decreased renal function(which can lead to a dogs death). The studies were on dogs with a very high protein intake(44% or more) that didnt get very much exercise if any at all. I would hope a 2% protein increase in a working dogs diet wouldnt kill them. I was worried about the fat increase more than the protein increase. I could be wrong....wouldnt be a first. YIS

More protein wouldn't kill them, but if they have kidney problems they'll surface pretty quick. Here ya go, all of your questions will be answered (i hope) http://www.game-dog.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11271&highlight=high+protein
