watch the vid....Beside the scars the dogs looked good...in good shape. And look how friendly they are to the STRANGE cops....one fight with a badger or a bobcat and a dog will get those scars. They looked like friendly familiedogs.

Nice and fat dogs, kept on a chain/axle setup, had food and water, and one looked minimally scarred. Realone said it first...those scars can come from anything, a coon, a badger, a barbed wire fence...anything.

Another case of the blind leading the blind. The reporter, cop, and animal control officer must be blissfully happy because their comments certainly showed their ignorance.
In that video I saw NO backbone or emaciated animals....in fact, they were a tad on the overweight side. They said the dogs had water but little or no food. They certainly were not lacking in the food consumption department. They just didn't raid the place within 5 min of feeding time, which is about how long it takes a dog to woof it's food down.
You CANNOT tell where a dogs scars come from by looking at them. Only the uneducated would even try to say they KNEW they were "fighting scars".
Media sensationalism at it's best........unfortunately, the only ones to lose will be the dogs, and they'll end up losing their lives due to ignorance.

i'm thinking those dogs looked pretty darn good,,their coats looked good,,kind of a little fat actually,,if they were lacking in food and water it could of only been the hour before the authorities got there,,they cetainly aren't lacking in the grocery dept.

Regardless of how they look....Unless your caught in the act, that shouldn't even be mentioned or put into print noless. Speculation, subjecture, ect ect. These accusers need to be taken to task.

dogs looked a tad heavy to me, if those dogs had missed a meal, it was the one that was on its way out the door to them when the "bust" happened (ROLLS EYES!!)
i LOVE how they say they were living in fecal matter bla bla bla, but then they never show where the dogs where living. Why?? prob because it was cleaner than their own homes! now im irritated lol
Oh (and besides little shit dogs like chihuahuas/etc) i dont know any dogs that just let food sit in there bowl all day. If a dog leaves food in the bowl, its because you are feeding too much!!

how come if someone is caught with drugs and has a pit it means they fight the dogs too? that storie really upset me. i have been battleing mites for like 6 months and my dog has scars does that mean that she fights. because quite honestly she has been in one fight over food and lost to my half boxer/shepard. that really grinds my gears!dogs looked a tad heavy to me, if those dogs had missed a meal, it was the one that was on its way out the door to them when the "bust" happened (ROLLS EYES!!)

Just to add to this point, if my house was to be inspected tomarrow-I would also be trashed in the papers. Why? A groundhog popped its head out of the shed in Odins chain space....
Thats right, one little 10 lb. groundhog. From the first screams I heard from the groundhog, to the time I ran barefoot out the back door half expecting to see a wild dog or cat, it was already dead. Never the less, in those maybe 15 seconds before its death, it cut Odin up pretty good. He had a nice sized hole in his cheeck; a long deep laceration on his chin, part of the skin ripped off the front leg, and the worst cut was on the inside of the lips, and various cuts and scrapes all over his face and front legs. According to most HSUS reports, media reports, and uninformed idiots in general...this is "proof" of dog-fighting! A 15 second scuffle between wild game and a dog. Its a damn shame

Yet another example of people who have no idea what they are talking about. This shit really makes me mad. Those dogs looked healthy to me.

From what I see, the one look'd fine. Didn't look skinny to me. The scars are lil' to nothing, not what I'm use to seeing. Probably from playing rough. When drugs are involved, they beef it up.
