I know that DMX and his agent use to get dogs from Proline Kennels! But not sure if that specific dog is from there!

Slinky if you have the album the cover should say the name of the kennel where the dog came from i'm pretty sure it was forbidden forest kennels. I don't know if the site pitangel gave is the same site, the album has the website and when i went to the website a while ago it said something like they were closed due to legal actions. DMX had quite a few dogs taken away from him in a raid a couple of years ago something like 20+ dogs. Anyway i do agree with you slinky great looking dog.

Why was there a raid, and why did they take his dogs. Surely they were taken care of.
this has been discussed before, search threadsWhy was there a raid, and why did they take his dogs. Surely they were taken care of.

The reports were dogs locked in kennels in urine and feces, he was charged with animal cruelty. Now if its true or not-who knows. Nobody knows for sure what went down, those are just the allegations the media made, and we all know how mis-leading, and blatant lies those can be most of the time.

Yeah I heard a lot of rumors about DMX and his pit bulls...I'm still not sure if I believe them. I would think that someone with that much money wouldn't need to fight dogs for money and would be able to take care of his dogs...if not personally, then to pay someone to take care of them for him. But I still love his MUSIC I'm just not sure if I like him anymore....I believe he was charged with like 13 counts of animal cruelity...

Trupitlover-you will find most dogmen in the game today do not do it for the money-regardless of what the ARA whackos would lead you to believe. There are, in every circle, the few who wish to exploit their endeavor to make some easy cash....but they are the minority by far (in every circle, the dog-fighting circle included).

Rapper and actor DMX, 32, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was ordered to do
Humane Society TV public service announcements as part of his sentencing on
animal cruelty charges. Police who went to DMX's Teaneck, N.J., home in 1999
to investigate the shooting of his business manager found 13 pit bulls and
drug paraphernalia. Animal rights activists already had slammed DMX in 1999
for using scenes of two pit bulls snarling at each other in the video for his
song "What's My Name?" DMX paid the Humane Society $27,500 in April for the
advertisements, but the commercials remain under development, Humane Society
spokeswoman Karen Allanach said.

IMO...and this is somewhat off topic, so sorry guys...But dog fighting and all other animal abuse, neglect, etc. is still such a problem b/c too many people seem to think that animals aren't worth the effort in placing stricter laws and more severe punishments.
It really pisses me off when I watch Animal Planet or something like that and you see a story of some man who tortured to death a pit bull or any other animal for that matter. And I mean torutured...(set of fire, beat bloody, etc.) What do they receive as punishment???!!! Some fines maybe, perhaps a few months probabtion. Rarely and I mean rarely do you hear about someone actually spending time in jail for at least receiving adaquate probation time. But if it were a human beating another human..Oh Lord everyone would go nuts. You get in all kinds of legal trouble if you just slap or punch someone once...but you can torture an innocent animal to death in the worst possible way and pay a B*tch fine and go on your way....
DMX basically paid off the humane society. It's wrong. It just goes to show that you can get away with hurting animals.
