I would just like to say that I think the bashing and rudeness gets outta hand on here sometimes.I know it's hard not to be rude sometimes but everyone is here to educate and learn. No one listens to someone who is rude to them. Some people just need a little education. When you are rude I think it teaches nothing but for them to think you're a jerk and NOT to take your advice. There's no reason to be rude to someone for asking a question.I know everyone is here for the love of breed.I think we should educate in a nice way that WILL teach others something.Seriously how many people have got rude comments on here and/or bashing? If so just state your experience and I will help you work it out so there's no more hard feelings.I don't know everything and have a lot to learn but I know there's people on here who are very educated and some of them could NICELY help you settle your issue.I have not even bothered from the rude opinions in here so in return I learned nothing from the rude comments.I HAVE learned a lot from the people who were nice in here.I THANK ALL OF YOU WHO WERE NICE AND RESPECTFUL REGARDLESS OF THE QUESTION.You taught me something.IMO I think the following people know their stuff.
SUKI,GSD BULLDOG,HIGHVOLTAGEAPBT,IVERSONS PITS AND MANY OTHERS I will list as soon as i remember your names.Who on here have you learned something from?State their name and how they taught you so they know the did good.I'm sure they would like to know that they helped.THANK YOU.

This community (all of you) help me on a day to day basis. There are the special ones that helped me with some of my literature (you know who you are) and the ones who are just plane knowlegable. This community helps me by just being here. Even the rude comments helped me to become a better man, later we can just alltogether just aggree to disaggree and that is awsome. I guess this thread is much more polite and nice than the one i posted earlier....LOL.... I was on a rampage .... but now i see where i was wronge. Thanks everyone and the special ones know who you are;)

I know to many people I come across as rude at times, and I appologize for it. (99% of the time), its not a matter of me purposefully trying to make anyone feel bad...but simply a lack of time or willpower to sugar-coat everything so that you can feel all warm and cuddly. If you take posts for what they are-just words on the page aimed at helping you out-from people who do this day after day, and in all honesty people who have full-time jobs (or two like myself) and dont have the time to make sure everyones feelings are not injured, as long as the point gets across. IMO I would much rather get just straight facts and no sugar-coating than have someone spend their time making a "nice" reply that has no real basis to it. We are trying to help to the best of each of our individual abilities, and being rude is usually not the emotion we try to portray....even though alot of people will take it that way. I (as others) have been trying lately to be more polite and less short with our answers, as we do not want other members to feel put off by a post. So just take this advice for what its worth to you "read the facts, and dont get caught up in the emotion you thinking you are reading along with them. At the end of the day, they are just words typed on a screen, nothing more, nothing less. This is a learning experience for all, just have as much fun as you can and take away whatever you can from it.

Thank you.

It's good that the "mood" is has become less sullen here.

I think that if we could all keep the personal comments to the pm,s, much tension can be allievated here.

Also, I like to look at it from another perspective:
say, for instance, people come on here to view this forum, people who love to hate this breed, and "see" the underlying current of anger we're displaying, it makes me wonder how they think, "like, geeeze, "these people" can't even agree on their own breed", ...
yah know what I'm saying?

so, if you have "personal issues" with particular folks, please let 'em know in a P.M., and let's all continue to help and educate each other.
Yeah, we'll all always agree on disagreeing, but we can do it nicely.

Thanks for everyones' help and input. I learn, constantly, BECAUSE of this forum!:D

...now, go hug your dog!!!!:)

I completely agree with all who have posted. I have been here ofr a few months now and used to post quite abit and then decided to lay off because of all the hostility flying around. As Suki stated you don't want people who are against the breed to be able to visit here and make a mockery of the knowledgable people we have in here and the help they are offering to us and other members. Not only that, you don't want to run off potential members. I mean you have serveral people veryday viewing this forum before they decide to become amember. We don't want to chase them away before they have a chance to get in the door. I too used to think some of the posts were harsh but I'd rather someone tell me like it is than to sugar coat the truth or facts of the matter, maybe not just a harsh as I have seen some posts. I respect everyone in here and what they are trying to do and have had great success doing. I personally have learned quite a bit from quite a few of the members in here and would like to continue the education. So, please keep up the great work and I do appreciate all the words of wisdom that have been offered to me. I look forward to working with all of you.

As you can see.......this is not the first time this has gone on.

It is a shame that some can only find joy in their lives by trying to hurt the feeling of others. Bashing doesn't accomplish anything except creating hostility among board members. This board is to help educate EVERYONE and to provide a like environment for all of us with the same passion to gather.

I have seen alot of times members try to be as kind as possible when sharing some information, then the rookies deny it with their own opinions and other nonsense. Of course like my mother used to tell me. "You dont listen when I talk you, but when I knock you up side your dome and yell, then you understand."

Aw, well those same people who complain so much always come back to read some more. Everyone wins

When I first started coming to this site I wasn't comfortable with the way people bashed other less informed ppl. However, I am starting to get used to it. But let's keep educating....

I dont see much of any pointless bashing no more. Most of those people were either removed or just left, most kept quiet and just read like alot of other people.

It's nice to see everyone getting alone ;)

Sometimes it's hard to keep your cool when someones opinion is quite different than your own, and you both refuse to see the other side of the fence. Everyone just needs to keep an open mind & accept the fact that bulldog owners are very opinionated, varied people.

That being said, some people just won't listen if you sugar-coat everything. Sometimes you gotta say it how it is. Or beat it into them with a two-by-four. Whatever works ;)
