Anybody know if there is a law that stops you mixing your own dog food to sell to the Public...!!!

Probably. There are laws for everything now. You would probaly have to do a lot of research and know a lot about nutrition to do that. Would you go buy something that someone "just mixed up" for your dog to eat?

Not just that think about the liability, insurance policies and other policies you would have to carry...(ex. Diamond) Not saying it cannot be done, but thats a pretty well covered market and unless you know a huge nutritional secret, the big manufacturers would eat up the smaller competition.
Have you considered trying to meet with a rep. from a current manufacturer and pitch your idea?

I agree. You would be held liable if dogs got sick from something in the food, etc. Although it sounds like you're deffinately not one of those lazy people. YOu have goals, which is good. Just be careful. Personally, I wouldn't just buy dog food from someone, you'd have to have some sort of reference or soemthing,

If you decide to try this remember one thing, be unique. Offer something that noone else can, whether that be great service, better quality kibble, or a unique performance additive. If you wanna compete with the big dogs you gotta out smart them.
