Wow this is hard. Blaze passed away yesterday afternoon of unknown causes. She was 6 years old and the only double bred Deadwood ROM dog alive in the world. She herself and pedigree were second to none. She was a bulldog in every sense of the word. She was never bred so we have no offspring off her. I own the only 2 living daughters or dogs for that matter, off mtn.man's deadwood. She was one of them. I will miss her more than I could ever express. She was fine in the morning and then about 4 hours later she was dead. It was probley some freak thing like a blood clot in the brain or something odd like that. But this was deffinatley a huge blow to the camp. I feel like you will come across a bulldog once in a lifetime that has what it takes to be the total package blaze was one of those kinds of animals. she had a pedigree second to none, and a bulldog in every sense of the word. she lived, breathed, and ate being a bulldog. she loved every minute of being the dog that she was. She made me smile everyday.I could never put words to express how much this hurts or how badly i will miss this animal. RIP BLAZE SEPT 1998-MAR 2006.

I am so sorry for your loss....she was a beauitful dog. I know it must be hard to lose a family member. You are in my prayers. :(

That is terrible. She was a great looking dog. I can't even begin to imagine how I would feel if I lost any of my dogs. I am so sorry.

my heart always sinks when i read these. i cant even START to think of if this happen'd to any of my bulldogs... i'll get a little misty eyed! just remember that she was a happy girl and an awesome little bulldog!! im sure your arent the only one that she made her mark on...

Tab, you have both mine and my family's condolances. Loosing one is never easy, and you should stop owning them if it becomes so.

tab sorry for you loss man. but please stick her sister if you haven't already. man you hold some important blood on your yard and i would hate to see you post that her sister is gone also. in no way hoping that happens to you.

Thank you very much everyone. This has not been easy. As for the reason why she had never been bred, her heats are only once every year sometimes 18 months. she was bred to her half brother and did not take about 3 years ago. the other time she was sent off to be bred and the guy could not get her bred..lol they said she was crazy..lol so i have been waiting on her to come in and breed her to my willie dog. As i have already bred her half sister ch florida to him and those pups are almost 7 months old and are off the meter already!

That is really unfortunate, to lose a good friend so quickly like that. I feel your pain. She will be greatly missed. And just remember, you will meet her again some day, and she'll have lots of fun doing her favourite things until you do :)
