Be consistant. Take her outside after every meal, after a bath, after she plays, when she wakes up, after she drinks. Everytime she goes outside, praise her. Do not punish her for going in the house.

Some dogs are just that way. I got one who wont get dirty for nothin, then another who I think just tries to get dirty.

When we are house training, we take them out just about every hour and we try to take them to the same place so that they learn to recognize their scent. We also use puppy pads by the front door so that they can associate the puppy pads with the front door and going outside. We also crate train too. You just have to be consistant.

So true, Crate trainings is always a big help. Have your house time with your pup but use the crate for a few minutes at a time. Always take your pup strait from the crate to your spot outside where you want your pup to go at. Remember most times if a dog or pup goes in the house it is your fault not his! Take more trips with your pup out side and never leave your pup alone in the house to go where ever he/she may wish to go.

Get her on a schedual and stick to it that will also help alot. My dogs are on a schedual and it helps alot. We wake up go outside, come in eat breakfast, half hour later we go outside again whatever is left from breakfast gets put up. Then we do some stuff online get ready for work, go outsde again. We go to work, when we get home out of the crates and straight outside. come in go for a walk (2 dogs per person). after walks everyone eats, goes potty half hour later all the food that wasnt eaten is put away and then we go outside again before bed. We do the same thing at the same time everyday as far going potty and eating so everyone does really well and we dont really have accidents inside.

I use to take my pup out every 1/2hr. She got use to the routine & didn't have anymore messes. Later, I took her out every couple of hours. Dogs won't stay clean, their like lil' ones. I wash my dogs once a week & hose them daily. Hope that helps some.

something that helped me a lot was taking mine outside, right after she had an accident in the house. try to stop her if you can catch her in the act and take her directly outside. I did this for roughly a week and now my 17 week old will sit at the door anytime she has to go. when i leave her home in the day, i leave the door to our 2nd floor porch cracked so that she will go do her business out there. true she craps on my porch, but it sure beats the carpet...good luck

The best solution is prevention. If you (or another adult) is not able to watch her literally every second, she needs to either be outside (kenneled, tied out?) or crated (whatever your situation is). However, when you or another adult is home, I reccomend buying a 20 ft training leash. Wrap it around your waist (and of course attach dog...lol). That way there is no way she can sneak away and make a mistake, and you have constant supervision.
When she starts to go in the house, IMEADIATELY tell her "NO" and bring her outside (if you can carry her, do it). Then when she finishes up outside, give her a pee pee party. Yay, good girl, potty outside, etc. etc. etc. (the treats are a good idea too...Lord knows nothing speaks louder to dogs than food).
I also agree with getting her on schedule, and taking her out every time she does anything other than sleep...play tug? outside after...eat? outside...sip of water? outside...give her every opportunity to succeed, and always always always praise her when she does.
At night, be sure she is contained so as not to make a mistake inside, otherwise you will just undue all of the training you did all day. Crated or kenneled, whatever it may be, so that she doesn't have the opportunity to go inside. Best of Luck...and remember to have patience. It won't resolve itself over night, or in a week, and most likely not even in a month. Just be consistant, stay positive...

sounds to me and i am not being mean that you have what i call just a dirty dog there really aint nothing you can do except discourage it strongly, sometimes they pay attention sometimes they dont.on the house training the best thing to do is crate her even when you are in the house untill you get her in the habit of going out side feed her in the crate and make her sleep in the crate only play with her after she has went to the toilet outside and let you know she needed to go out.then when you get her kind of used to going out side and letting you know when she needs to go out then you can start letting her out of the crate for a hour or so untill she starts to let you know when she needs to go out no matter if she is in the crate or in the next room laying on the floor chewing on a bone.also i recomend since she is bound to have accidents in her crate to get one of those wire ones since they have a pull out tray wich makes clean up alot easier also she wont feel so confined since she can see everything thats going on.it may seem kind of mean but it is the quickest way to get her on the right path.and it may only take a week or 2 of constant crating.

We taught our dogs to ring a bell we have hanging on the door when they need to go out. All you have to do is hit their nose on the bell every time you take them out and praise them for it, and then praise them again after they go out side. Eventually they will catch on. My 3 year old actually taught her daughter to do this before we had a chance to. All the sudden one day the puppy was ringind the bell, and i was laughing at fauna, and told her she was such a good mom! Becareful though it does backfire, now the 3 year old rings the bell for everything, she'll see people outside and she'll ring it, or ring it right after we just let her out. But its a good technique to get them used to and then you know exactly when they need to go.

I got my pit, Lexas when she was 2 1/2 months old. I had problems crate training her at first, b/c I had an adult sized crate, so she'd do her business and sit on the other side of the crate. But at about 4 months or so, she stopped. I'd make her sit in the crate with it for about 15 minutes...to kind of show her that mommy isn't going to run behind you cleaning up your mess all the time.
She still went on the floor and she also chewed up a lot of stuff so I started crating her whenever I wasn't home or sleeping..Now she gets to stay out of the crate whenever she wants. The crate, in my opinion, was like time-out...she learned that if she lets me know she has to go potty and doesn't chew up anything, etc. that she gets priviliges.

a wire crate(big one) is 54 dollars at wal-mart is a great thing for this,,,they won,t use it where they sleep or stay,,crate it and will save alot of time on a stubborn dog,
