the other day i was walking my female(kilo) like i always do, when i was charged upon by 3 dogs one female pit and two males, one of those being a pit also. i'm not sure why this was because i had seen all three before on different terms. maybe it was my female cause she has started to go in heat. or it was the way she barked when she saw the other dogs but they came running female out in front. kilo didn't back down or even flinch at this other female even being 10lbs lighter. they hit and my femlae laid into her as i looked for an opening to grab her up cause she was on top. i was able to grab her after the other female yelped and wiggled away and ran back across the road. then came the males she turned them pretty fast after they both took a hard roll. kilo then saw the female across the street and went back after her and slammed her around a bit before i could get across the road. when i got to them i yelled."Kilo No!!!" she backed up off the dog and i had to stand between them cause kilo was still lunging at the other dog. i told her to get her asss home now and she turned nd left. got a few scratches hair alredy cam back after they scabbed. i'm not sure if the dogs would have came after me if she wasn't there or what. but none the less i am very proud of the way she handle herself.http://www.game-dog.com/gallery/files/2/7/3/5/101_0383_115696.jpg

Good on Ya mate. Have you contacted the other dog's owners? Sounds like they need to keep those curs locked up alittle better before they make front page on the news stand or some RIP article :) .

Did you have her on a leash?

I'm from Norman although I live in Pennsylvania. Please tell me people aren't letting Pitbulls run around loose in Norman. Talk about a breed ban waiting to happen.

I am not jumping your case I'm sure you were hand walking your dog on leash (she looks very nice by the way) but I'd have a talk with animal control if people around me were letting their dog run around loose.

Norman is right next door to ol Weaselhoft's district. Please report this before it happens to someone who doesn't have as capable a dog. (And keep your girl on leash. ;) )

nice to see all the views and read the feed back. yes my girl was on a leash and yes i have sent many letters to the dumb politions office. my oldest sisters father in-law is a state rep. and i've got him "in my pocket" so to say. he has seen my dogs and i've givin him tons of apbt info to read up on. he doesn't want to see a ban happen to this breed. and many of his voters are rual pit owners so it looks ok for now.i haven't seen the other owner of her dogs as of late, and no pits aren't running around in Norman they were just out in her yard to go to the bath room.

thanx again.
