The other day i was out playin ball with my dog and he got over excited. he ran and grabbed the ball and came running full speed at me and jumped right on me.well we both fell to the ground, cause i thought it was funny, but then i felt something wet and slimey on my arm.i thought it was slobber at first but when i looked down at my white shirt, there was this green puss like substance all over the front of my shirt and arm.Then i noticed it coming out of the tip of Jigs sheath.Im wondering what the hell is this crap???

Don't worry is natural for boy's to ooze once in a while. Can't contain the malehood i guess.

Actually it's called shegma & its perfectly normal. It's just a secretion that males dogs have. It's not semen.

I was actually wondering about this too. My boy just started "oozing" this cream to light green color stuff and I thought it was an infection. Ah, it's so gross.:eek:

Yeah i was kind of worried when i saw loki OozinG but mia cleared that up for me. I just wipe it off with a paper towel everynow and then and he HATES it. its just nasty dammit.

lol my boys have that secretion also... its just plain nasty as stated b4... and since i know they clean it up themselves, there's no way in HELL that they're kissin' mommy on the face LOL

LOL. You wouldn't believe how many people brought their male pups/dogs into the vet for this very "problem". But in all reality, it's actually very important to the male dogs as it keeps their penis lubricated. If they didn't produce this, the penis would dry out causing it to stick to the sheath & most likely nasty infection would set in.
