Why are a lot of posts being erased? I'm noticing this more and more. I see people quoting someone's post, but you won't find that post because it's erased.

check your rep filter...if you have it set to show only reputations higher than the quoted individual it wont show up. As for actual posts getting deleted, the only time we delete posts is when they are against site rules. The most common reason a post is deleted is namecalling and personall attacks. After that, sometimes a hi-jacked thread will be brought back to topic by deleting off-topic posts. Also, of course, if someone is discussing illegal activities those posts also get deleted.

I was just reading a post and someone's was deleted, let me go read the rules and see if why I think the post was deleted is against the rules. BRB
