Any Info??

I know this may be a shot in the dark....but does anyone know any info on any of these dogs, the owners or the breeders??....I am putting together a picture pedigree & have come to a brick wall!! ANYTHING will help!

These are the dogs on my females peds...I have not been able to find 1 picture!!

It is funny how fast a breeder responds when you want to buy a dog, but when you want info about a dog they will not even answer an email....

I contacted the WoodsForest Kennel but they never responded....so I found most of the Woods dogs online, took alot but found most of them.....I think the hard part is that not many people used to have online pedigrees & if the dogs are older they may not have pictures avail....but I just wish they would respond & say "hey, we dont have any info"....that would be better than just deleting my email.....

I will not name, names but I did not buy from a BYB.....& some of the kennels I have contacted for info were good, well known kennels....I even have a friend that got a dog directly from York Kennels & she writes her all the time & chats, but when she asked for pictures for her pedigree, she never wrote back.....just funny....I dont get it....

I truely believe any breeder who is reputable takes the time to follow up on descendants of his/her line. Someone who, no matter how "prestigious" they are, just sells dogs and neglects the owners of their line later on are no better than the guy selling $75 "pitbulls" behind Walmart. Its not the quantity of dogs, or even the quality of dogs you occasionally produce that makes you a byb-its poor breeding ethics, namely turning your back on someone after you've made your profit.

I never thought of it that way....but I guess they should fall into that catergory too....Just a simple response would let me know they were giving it a little thought....i know i would at least respond to an email....no matter how stupid the question.....Even thought i do not think it is stupid to want to know what the dogs ancestors looked like...I would rather see the dog than the name....a name does not tell much about the dogs....

ginny york of york kennels has been really helpful to me. her problem with pics is that all she has is actual printed pictures in MASSIVE boxes. boxes ontop of boxes of photos...so its hard to ask to get a pic from her.

I dont know if it is really an issue of not being helpful......I think it is more about the non-responses....She has always responded to my friend too & been very helpful to her, but it seems like when you ask for pictures some would rather not responde to you...I dont know why...
I could imagine having to go through boxes of pictures, that would be loads of fun....not!!....but I just would like a response instead of nothing....Ya know?

I have to agree. Ginny York has been very kind to me as well. If she has as many pics as ppl say maybe it will just take her a while to get back to you.

Keep the faith. 14rock does have a good point. Customer service Damit!!!!!! Ginny will hit you back soon. I hung out with her in VA for an hr at a dog show, she is very busy and you wouldnt be able to count the pics she has. As for woodforest, i will call them personally, if you need me to. Anybody else i will have to do some more research. Good luck.
