Thieves Use a Bitch In Heat To Distract Guard Dog

A gang of thieves used a bitch in heat to distract a guard dog so they could raid a factory in Brazil.

After breaking into the factory in Santa Maria, they put the bitch near the guard dog, reports Zero Hora newspaper.

And while the guard dog was distracted, the gang took £10,000 in cash from the Segalin agricultural products company.

The secretary, who was the first to arrive at the factory, told the police: "When I arrived at the company I saw Zulu, the dog happily chasing after a female dog."

CCTV footage confirmed the secretary's suspicions.

A police spokesperson said: "Those are very creative and resourceful thieves, that was a very good idea!"

In some casesIf I just had APBTs on my yard there would be no need for "bait" since all my dogs welcome anyone regardless of if they've met them or not (gotta love 'em for that). HOWEVER, I have 3 dogs that are set up to where someone, if they managed to get onto my property, would have to go through & since all 3 are s/n I doubt a bitch in heat would even make them blink an eye (& my Rottie went through all her training a spayed animal & performed just as well & better than some intact females so I think that arguement is bogus)

EDIT: the "arguement" I speaking of is the one that spayed/neutered animals don't do well as guard dogs or protection dogs

my buddy got 73 lb malinios intact and you gotta shot him to get in he is titled and all....scarry dog.but like we say bred and proven in his area.

I have a Shar Pei/Cane Corso mix (approx 100lbs lean), a Rottweiler (approx. 110lbs--German import), & a Dogo Argentino (approx. 120)......all neuterd & spayed. I'm not in the business of these breeds or breeding guard dogs so it was in my best interest & the dogs' best interest to have them altered. However, they are doing a great job with their "work". No dogs lost since I've had them & whoever is left inside during the day never fails to rearrange my furniture & do some new artwork with the trash from the trashcan. ;)

well out here in brazil they tend to either poison the dogs or bring a bitch in heat...so i have both male and female dogs and trained them not to take food from strangers using a vomit liquid sold at pharmacys..thats used when kids eat or drink poison..dogs get sick as hell but..wont want to take meat from a stranger...not that my dogs are gaurd dogs but if they need to be they will.

Mals arent as big as the gsd but man they are intense.Super athletes ...my buddy knows the folks here at the air force base ans the wont even adopy a retired service dog out it you dont have a 8 ft fence.
