Damn, you mean. WHY WOULD YOU EVEN SAY TO PUT THE DAMN DOG DOWN. WOULD YOU?????????????????????????????? HOW IS SOMEONE SUPPOSE TO KNOW UNLESS THEY ASK? To the other one...just ask around , I have 13 apbt's...I am covered ..CAUSE I DID THE RESEARCH. check your state and just ask around. CAUSE IF SOMEONE COMES IN YOUR YARD AND YOUR DOG BITES THEM YOU CAN GET SUED!!!!!!!! EVEN A BURGLAR.

How am I mean. A human-aggressive APBT besides rare is an extreme liability, and also a fault for the breed. If my dogs bit someone without good reason-yes, I'd put it down in a heartbeat. Same goes with any breed of dog I own-any aggression at all, it is culled. period. If a burglar comes into my yard.. you can rest assured they are not going to be in the position to sue. As for anyone else, I have fences around my property along with no trespassing signs....you come on my property and get bit by a chained dog-its your own damn fault, and I'll take it to court for trespassing. I know for a fact none of my dogs would bite anyone without justification, and with justification-I still doubt they would bite (you could probably steal my dogs without them so much as growling).

They were just asking. I had to find a homeowner's insurance that would accept pits, or I couldn't keep them, or I had to move to a deserted island. It's the liability and the stereotype. on the news a couple months ago, this guy broke into these people's house and their pit bit that m######### ass up. He sued and he won. These people's home insurance was dropped cause it was a pit. I had to put a privacy fence up, security cameras, and 3 locks on my gate because of all the media attention I had. People were knocking on my door asking me to fight my dogs. They try to steal my dogs and so I chase them down the street with a rather large sawed off shotgun and that's where the locks had to come up and the key is under my pillow next to my .45 I have signs all over the place, but there is still a chance that could happen to anyone. And you are exactly right, It's their own damn fault what happens behind my gates on my property and I hope they lose an eye. Thanks for not SCREAMING at me.lol

Use the search feature for "pit bull" friendly homeowner's insurance. This topic has been discussed a lot.

I mean no disrespect, but how many dogs are you talking about? Were they all aggressive?

It's STATE LAW here to have insurance to cover pit bull bites whether they are aggressive or not. Call Ohio Insurance Exchange They are located in Lancaster, Ohio You may have to do a google search for them I do not have the number right onhand. I don't know if they write out of state policies but I never hurts to ask.
