It's hard to tell. Just like with our breed, you really need to see them working. If they work well & are bred well, then they are a good representation of the breed. :D Those dogs bred exclusively for show are NOT good examples of the bree.

There's a famus hot dog chain out here called Mark's Junkyard Dog's and the mascot is his Bourdeaux. We recently neutered one (full grown) he was very dog aggressive and not good with people, I'm sure that is not the case most of the time, but those are the only two that I have met.

Ohhhh, I get it! :D

Since I don't know that much about the breed (I know more about Cane Corsos), I'm not sure how the dog that played Hooch ranks in terms of quality Bourdeaux. But I'd have that big ole wrinkly head in my house any day...drool & all!
