</TD><TD vAlign=top bgColor=#ffffff></TD></TR><TR><TD vAlign=top colSpan=2 rowSpan=2>Notes: I?m a great boy named Rollo. My family moved and left me in the house to fend for myself. Instead of being grateful for having a wonderful guy like me, they chose to abandon me. I was unable to escape from the house myself, so I enlisted the help of my neighbors. They heard my cries and promptly rescued me. They made sure I was safe until there was room for me at Friends of Homeless Animals. And here I am, waiting for a new home with a family that appreciates me. I don?t do well in enclosed areas. As you might imagine, I?ve had just about enough of that already. I really like other dogs, and if you can believe it, I like cats too! I?m already housetrained and I enjoy riding in the car. I?m a big boy, so I?ll need lots of exercise. I?m well behaved though, and I walk nicely on a leash. My tail is always wagging. I?m always happy to meet you and shower you with affection. I?m a big boy with an even bigger heart, and I can?t wait to share it with you.

I can only be adopted to a home in the DC Metro area.

FIFI is a victim of Hurricane Katrina. The following is from her foster mom:
UPDATE:
Fifi is great
indoors, has great social skills and is housebroken. She's good with
other dogs but likes to be dominant. She's very active, loves to play
rough and is very alert and intelligent. Fifi will need a dog savvy home. She needs a family with a strong
leader who understands her potential.
Fifi is a very strong dog...she is definitely unique in coloring, cutting a striking figure as she romps and bows for attention. Everyone who meets FiFi, can't help but smile at her antics and gentle disposition.

ID: Emma

</TD><TD vAlign=top bgColor=#ffffff></TD></TR><TR><TD vAlign=top colSpan=2 rowSpan=2>Notes: Here's Emma. How can you resist this face. She is absolutely gorgeous. Emma is a 9-10 month old spay female pitty girl who loves to play with other dogs, cats, kids and toys. She is still puppyish and has some puppy energy, but is a true snuggle pitty that loves to give kisses and more kisses. She will need regular exercise so someone who jogs or like to throw a ball in the back yard is ideal. She calms down nicely in the house. Although she is not a chewer she should have plenty of toys or another dog to keep her occupied. Emma loves to please and takes to training very easily. She is potty trained, has some basic obedience and walks fairly well on a leash. Are you the family Emma's been waiting for?

And for anyone in the area who would prefer a puppy to raise, there were sooooo many puppies & litters of puppies that I couldn't even begin to post them!
